The Twitter account @AskHamas was launched on March 13, 2015, as a platform to answer user questions regarding the movement, and spread its message on social media. The account urged users to tweet using questions the #AskHamas hashtag and engaged with people asking questions, as well as those attacking it. The account also featured Q&A sessions with Hamas figures such as Prime Minister Isma'il Haniyeh, MP Huda Naim, and Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu 'Ubaida. Thus far the account has amassed over 4,700 followers and sent out more than 250 tweets.
