On January 12, 2016, the Barwon Health website in Australia was taken down by a Palestinian hacker who posted what reports described as a "religious rant." The hacker called himself Akram Stelle, and attacked numerous websites in the Geelong region of Austrlia as well as sites in Russia, the U.S., Germany, Hungary, and Brazil.

The name Akram Stelle has also been linked to the El Moujahidin youth group in Algeria, which carried out a cyber attack on French websites last year. The defaced websites also featured the image below: 1220_IMAGE4 Source: Geelongadvertiser.com.au, January 12, 2016.
