On March 2, 2016, the Caliphate Cyber Army posted online a video showing its hacking of the website of the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association (mppoa.com), disseminating contact information of its members and leaving a deface message.
The deface message read: "In the name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful. Message from the Hackers of the Islamic State: The Nations of kufr [unbelief] have indeed gathered together under the flag of the cross representing kufr and falsehood and jointly declared war upon the Khilafah. We have responded to the call of war, and risen across the globe, from within their own backyards, to strike back viciously, anywhere and anytime. Safety has ceased to exist, every country is now a legitimate target, irrespective of who you are or where you are or what measures you implement - We will Attack - We Will Strike - We Will Hack you, follow you, spy on you, and take ghaneemah from you... All your information will belong to us, including your secrets..... You will never know peaceful sleep or what safety and security feels like ever again, we will strike you online like the lone wo[missing text] strike you on land... Feel us.... WE ARE HERE! FEAR US.... because we are READY TO STRIKE!! WE ARE THE ISLAMIC CYBER ARMY..... WE HACK CRUCIAL TARGETS - WE FEAR NONE - BECAUSE ALLAH IS WITH US!!!!!
