On July 11, 2024, Al-Azaim Media Foundation, a media outlet linked to ISIS's Khorasan Province (ISKP), released issue 37 of its English-language magazine, "Voice of Khurasan." It featured a poster urging Muslims to make donations via Monero cryptocurrency. The same poster had appeared in previous editions and in other issues of the magazine, which is released in several languages. The poster read: "Please donate with safe cryptocurrency Monero (XMR) for waging jihad with wealth and to finance those who are waging the same with their lives." It then listed its Monero wallet.
