On December 2, 2024, Islamic State (ISIS) supporters reported a major crackdown on jihadi channels on Telegram. Channels that provide official news by the organization, as well as prominent supporter channels, such as Bariqah News Agency, were unavailable. The most recent official news published on Telegram was posted on November 28.
