Hackers In Kuwait Print Fake Credit Cards Bearing Names Of Dead People

On March 15, 2016, Kuwaiti authorities arrested 12 members of a hacker ring that printed fake credit cards bearing the names of dead people. The ring created over 100 fake card, stealing over $1 million, which they funneled to various accounts using sophisticated methods to avoid detection.

According to authorities, the hacker ring included two Kuwaitis, one Jordanian, two Nigerians, one Syria, four Egyptians, and one Gulf national. Two more members - an Egyptian and a Nigerian - are still at large.
