On March 10, 2025, a Palestinian outlet sanctioned by the U.S. for its involvement in fundraising for Hamas in the wake of the October 7, 2023 invasion of Israel, posted a link on its Telegram channels to an address for donating the USDT TRON cryptocurrency. A QR code linking to the same wallet was also included.
