Iranian Army Tests Offensive, Defensive Drones, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) In Ground Forces Drill

On January 28, 2025, the Iranian Army's Chief of Staff, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, delivered a speech during a military exercise in Western Iran, saying that Iranian forces have proven their readiness in the arena of electronic warfare. He said the maneuvers entailed the testing of offensive and defensive armored drone units, and that new robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies were used.[1]
