A video titled "Iran's Drone Capabilities Non-Negotiable," published on the English-language Iranian website Tehran Times on May 8, 2022, claimed that as part of the Vienna talks, the U.S. is trying to place "restrictions on Iran's drone industry."[1] Citing an Iranian lawyer, the site claimed this attempt is proof that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a "regional power due to its armed forces' skills including drone strength." The video then showed archival footage showing Iranian drone facilities.
