On May 24, 2022 on the Rocket.Chat server operated by the Islamic State (ISIS), a user published a post listing the "top 10 open-source Python libraries for hacking." The post argued that Python "is a high-level, easy-to-learn programming language widely used in machine learning, data science and web development, used by hackers and cybersecurity experts to identify vulnerabilities in computer networks."
