A channel on the Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket.chat server reported on in-fighting between media operatives of the Islamic State (ISIS) and accused the group's Media Diwan of failing to effectively arbitrate the conflict. The channel claimed that there is dispute between ISIS supporters over a delay in the reactivation of certain ISIS websites after their deletion. The ISIS supporters who are in dispute comprise operatives of unofficial pro-ISIS media organizations, all of which are subject to an umbrella production group, the channel reported. Another foundation – which, the channel noted, was formed out of a merger of several pro-ISIS media groups – reportedly manages the websites. However, an "ideological dispute" and "personal enmity" between media operatives within the foundation have reportedly prevented it from reactivating the websites.
