Pro-Al-Qaeda Supporter Mocks Internal Discord At Pro-ISIS Media Group

June 27, 2024

On June 24, 2024 an anti-Islamic State (ISIS) channel on the Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket.Chat server shared a screenshot of an announcement reporting that the head of a pro-ISIS umbrella media group declared that a programmer behind the recently-downed pro-ISIS Al-Ra'ud website, is an unbeliever. The announcement criticizes the media group’s head for getting rid of all the media group's old programmers and technical staff. It reports that the website is currently under the leader’s control, and warns readers against entering it and clicking its links. The post mocks the group for ignoring instructions by ISIS spokesman Abu Hudahyfah Al-Ansari to avoid internal discord and to create and publish an ISIS media archive.
