On October 30, 2023, a pro-Al-Qaeda Telegram bot published a poster calling for donations to "proud Gaza" by investing in the "steadfastness stock," adding that the cost of one share is ten dollars. The poster mentions that donations can be made using digital currencies only.
The poster was accompanied by the text: "[This is] a call to donate money, to strengthen the steadfastness of the people of Islam in Gaza. The amounts [donated] are transferred to an operational cell. The money will be used for basic necessities, such as foodstuffs, fuel, and medical care. The donation is secure, and made using encrypted digital currencies only." The text adds that donations can be made by contacting the bot.
