On November 21, 2022, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram outlet celebrated the hacking of a pro-Lebanese Hizbullah website by pro-ISIS "Lebanese cyber warriors." The purported hackers responded to the Telegram post with an image of slain ISIS leader Abu-Bakr Al-Baghdadi, and text saying the cyber attack was carried out by "supporters of the caliphate in [Lebanon's] Ein El Hilweh Refugee Camp." The message then threatened further attacks on Shi'ites.
