On October 8, 2024, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel released a poster titled: "Security Tips For Monasireen [ISIS Supporters]," providing followers with eight tips to follow to enhance computer security and protect their communications. Some of the tips were: Hard disk encryption, install antivirus software, activate the firewall, enable two-factor authentication, use trusted VPN apps.
