On January 3, 2018, the pro-Islamic State (ISIS) tech group Electronic Horizon Foundation (EHF) published a tutorial in English on using the encrypted messaging app Zom. The tutorial, which is based on an earlier tutorial in Arabic published by EHF in October 2017, is accessible on Telegram and via a Pastethis.at link. The tutorial provides detailed step-by-step instructions on obtaining, installing, and setting up Zom, on Android and iOS devices.
