On January 29, 2025, a Syrian jihadi group which reportedly participated in the Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS)-led November 2024 campaign "Repelling the Aggression" against Bashar Al-Assad's government, released a 48-second video featuring footage from several drone attacks carried out by the group's operatives against Al-Assad's forces.
The Telegram post stated that the video features footage of fighters utilizing "Shahin drones" in multiple operations targeting military outposts and locations belonging to Syrian government forces prior to Al-Assad's fall. The video opens by showcasing several angles of the drones before their launch. Using footage captured from drone cameras, various targeted sites are shown being bombarded.
