Following its annual tradition, a German neo-Nazi organization conducted a rally on May 1, 2024 – a Labor Day holiday in much of Europe. This year's gathering was particularly important for the future of the party as it served as an election campaign rally, as two elections approach: one for Germany's eastern states of Thuringia, Saxony, and Brandenburg, and the second to choose representatives for the European parliament. The neo-Nazi organization hopes to mobilize support under the slogan: "Repatriation Of Foreigners, Not Immigration!" Party members from across Germany, including its very active youth branch inspired by the former Hitler Youth, assembled to call for a "true alternative" to the current system. They seek a genuine rightward shift within the political mainstream.

The German neo-Nazis were accompanied by members of an American white supremacist organization who marched as special guests to support the German neo-Nazis demand for a national socialist system with social justice for all ethnic Germans who, according to the organization, are neglected under the current system. They also marched to call for the repatriation of non-European immigrants.
