The Domestic Terrorism Threat Monitor (DTTM) Extremism and Security Brief is a monthly summary of the online threat content collected in the DTTM team’s daily monitoring, research and translation. This content is taken from DTTM daily updates, which offer comprehensive, up-to-the-minute reporting of neo-Nazi, white supremacist, anti-government, accelerationist, and other domestic extremist content from the United States and dozens of countries around the world, including content in over a dozen languages and transnational threats which cross national and linguistic boundaries. This content is taken from a wide variety of social media platforms, blogs, forums, and websites, including Telegram, Gab, X, 4Chan, incel forums, and more.

SPECIALLY DESIGNATED GLOBAL TERRORISTS (SDGT): THE NORDIC RESISTANCE MOVEMENT AND THE RUSSIAN IMPERIAL MOVEMENT
The following groups have been designated by the United States Department of State as Specially Designated Global Terrorists. Only two Racially and Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremist (REMVE) groups have been designated under this framework – The Russia-based Russian Imperial Movement and the Scandinavia-based Nordic Resistance Movement.

On Telegram, the Nordic Resistance Movement announced that its new podcast now has a new channel on a video-sharing social media platform. This podcast replaced a previously influential podcast, which stopped production following the group’s designation.

UK Has A Supercomputer Predicting The Future And Only Winning The War On Ukraine Can Stop It
On Telegram, the fascist and Christian Orthodox “Russian Imperial Movement” (“RIM”) published (10/20) a conspiracy post. According to the RIM, the British use browsers and messengers (such as Google services and WhatsApp) to create a supercomputer in order to forecast the future. “This is what the masters of Western globalists, the demons do. They can predict, by collecting information from people's minds, quite realistically, not only the actions of these people, but also the onset of global events,” reads the text. The post argues that this task is being realized within a concept of “the world's electronic concentration camp, which the enemies of the human race have been building for the second century.” The text urges people to dismantle “these global plans of satanists” by joining the war in Ukraine. “If we win, we’ll have a chance to destroy globalism in its entirety,” concludes the post.
Imperial Legion Posts Recruitment Call On Telegram; 'Like It Or Not, You Are Either With Us Or Against Us'
On Telegram, the "Imperial Legion" ("Имперский легион"), the battle wing of the "Russian Imperial Movement," which is fighting in the war with Ukraine, posted a call to join the unit. The post calls the "Legion" a "national chivalry movement" and quotes 19th-century Russian philosopher Ivan Ilyin. It stresses that people must join the "ranks of Russian patriots" (i.e., the "Legion"), as "whether you like it or not, you are either with us or against us. Any teplokhladnii man [a man who is passive in religious matters], who finds a thousand excuses not to engage in armed struggle, is a coward or a traitor. Anyone who wants to remain above the fray is a deserter." The "Imperial Legion" believes that the "liberation and rebirth of Russia" are its main tasks. The post also includes a photo of "Imperial Legion" members posing with their flag near Kharkiv Oblast in Ukraine.
ACCELERATIONISTS, ECO-FASCISTS, AND ANTI-MODERNIST EXTREMISTS
The following groups and individuals can broadly be categorized as accelerationist or ideologically nihilist. These groups are inherently violent, and believe in using sabotage, assasination, and violence to achieve their goal of mass panic and societal collapse.
Accelerationist Terror Group Uses New Platform For Propaganda And Recruitment
On SimpleX, a neo-Nazi accelerationist group posted images showing members in two locations in the United States. The first image shows a man dressed in military fatigues, holding an M249 SAW light machine gun. The second image shows three men wearing masks and holding what appear to be AK-pattern rifles in front of the group's flag.
On Telegram, in a neo-Nazi group chat, a user posted a video which opens by showing two men, faces digitally redacted, posing with a flag of a neo-Nazi accelerationist group. The video then cuts to a scene of a man firing at a target at a shooting range. The video concludes with a graphic depicting a balaclava-clad man holding a firearm and featuring the text: "There Is No Political Solution."
Newfoundland Separatist Calls For Public Executions For All "Invaders"
A Newfoundland, Canada-based accelerationist and anti-government extremist uses his page on X to advocate for a "return to a culturally united Newfoundland and Labrador," to spread mis- and disinformation about immigration, the Great Replacement conspiracy, the alleged attack on Christianity in Canada, and COVID-19 conspiracy theories.
Irish Militant Fascists Meet With Lithuanian Active Club
On X, an Irish neo-Nazi organization posted (10/16) a photo showing members of the group alongside members of a Lithuanian Active Club, posing with a flag of the latter.
Russian Accelerationist Group Posts Video Of Brutal Assault On A Migrant Worker
On Telegram, a neo-Nazi accelerationist group posted (10/18) a video of a brutal attack on a migrant worker in Russia. The video opens with a Celtic wheel cross. It then shows several men, faces digitally blurred, assaulting a migrant worker. The text of the post reads, "In an unknown Russian city, unknown Russian skinheads dropped a foreign specialist [to the ground] and used his body as a trampoline."
Russian Neo-Nazi User Shares Post Hinting At Attack Inspired By Brenton Tarrant, Who Killed 51 Worshippers In New Zealand Mosque
In a sub-group of a Romanian neo-Nazi group chat, a user posted two photos and a video which appeared to hint at a future terror attack. One of the photos depicts a table on which is laid out equipment, weapons, and ammunition. The other photo, of a man in combat gear, appears with the words "Brenton Tarrant 6.0" superimposed on it. The user is apparently a Russian citizen, as evidenced by several of his profile photos which depict a Russian passport. Several of the weapons shown in the user's photo feature inscriptions apparently inspired by Brenton Tarrant, who killed 51 Muslims in a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2019.
IDEOLOGICAL MISOGYNISTS
The following indiviuals are ideological misogynists. They broadly include incels, the manoshpere, and male supremacists. Many of these indivudals advocate for violence against women, including stalking, sexual assault, rape, and murder.
Racist Incel Threatens Asians: “You Have No Right To Walk Outside And Not Feel Afraid”
On an Involuntary Celibate forum a user posted a thread titled “I saw a young ch**k reading a book alone out of enjoyment.” The known violent user then commented, “… It's almost insulting that he thinks he can just act like that and feel safe, and feel like he has a future. His life should be ruined like mine. IF YOU LOOK LIKE ME YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO WALK OUTSIDE AND NOT FEEL AFRAID. It's petty, It's abused becoming the abuser. But there is no catharsis when you're already broken.”
Incel Issues Rape Threat Against Female Forum Members
On an Involuntary Celibate forum a user posted (10/20) a thread titled “My advice to lurking ‘femcels’” – femcels being the term used by the Incel community to refer to female involuntary celibates. The initial post reads, “1. Go on a Diet and lose weight. 2. Date people who are fat just like you. Doing either of these will get you a boyfriend.” A violent user then commented, “Femcels I will rape you if you keep lurking.”

4Chan User Issues Bomb Threat To Austrian Politicians
On 4Chan, an anonymous user with an Austrian flag tag posted a message claiming that bombs were going to be used against Austrian officials. The user wrote: "One week of bomb threats was apparently not enough to make the imbeciles from the Austrian 'intelligence' service understand that they are facing the prequel to bombs that wont be announced when they go boom, or they were unable to make their incompetent socialist employers understand that a continuation is going to lead to a short civil war and mass murdering of the established heads from the socialist unity party and thousands of opportunists. For now a network of independent decentralized 'organized' trolls is going to keep clogging the system, and dont expect that the main happening is going to be announced." The post includes an image of Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer and President Alexander Van der Bellen, and the filename of the image is "booom.jpg."
4Chan User Says “Optics Are For Rifles,” Promotes Accelerationist Literature
- the anonymous internet chat board "4chan.org/pol," a user commented (10/15) on a thread discussing the recent movie "Civil War," which depicts the United States in the midst of a second civil war in the present day. The user wrote: "go clutch your pearls elsewhere. Equality is a social construct. Tolerance is the exception, not the rule. There is no political solution. Optics are for rifles. Read Siege." The post then links to a file of the novel.
Multiple Users Praise Christchurch Shooter Brenton Tarrant: “Death to the Invaders”
On X, a neo-Nazi user posted (10/16) a poster reading: "Our Children Pay The Price For Our Inaction. Kill All N**gers." The poster features terrorist Brenton Tarrant.
On X, a neo-Nazi user posted (10/9) a graphic depicting terrorist Brenton Tarrant with the text: "Death To The Invaders. Solar Order." The user also shared a quote by Tarrant reading: "Accept death, embrace infamy, achieve victory."
