In France, a coalition of labor unions, opposition political parties and activist groups have called for nationwide strikes and demonstrations on March 7, 2023, to protest government plans to increase the legal retirement age. This will be the sixth nationwide multi-sector strike since the current campaign started on January 19. This time, however, anti-government activists on Facebook have published graphics promoting the use of cobblestones, handmade grenades and general chaos. The full report provides details.
