12-year-old Lola Daviet's body was found on October 14, 2022 in the courtyard of the apartment block where she lived, in the 19th district of northeastern Paris. A 24-year-old Algerian woman, Dahbia B, living illegally in France, was taken into custody on suspicion of murder, rape, and acts of torture. A 43-year-old man is thought to have helped hide the girl's body. The murder led to demonstrations across France, calls to expel immigrants and for a “National Revolution” to “liberate our invaded homelands.” On some Telegram channels, Jews were blamed for the situation. The report documents ultranationalist demonstrations in Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Versailles, and various responses on social media.
