The paramilitary neo-Nazi organization "Légió Hungária" (LH) held gathering marking the fifth anniversary of its founding. The movement now boasts that it has established a stable structure providing a "predictable and effective basis for its operation, and to ensure its solidity and consistency in both intellectual and practical terms." Also attending the gathering were delegations from neo-Nazi groups from Scandinavia, Finland, and Switzerland; additionally, letters of congratulations were sent by German, Czech, Bulgarian, French, Ukrainian, and Italian groups – attesting to LH's politics of alliance.

Successful Events During The Year
The group has successfully marked the "Day of Honor" in February that commemorates the largely unsuccessful break-out of Hungarian and German soldiers in the last days of the siege of Budapest in 1945, along with other ultranationalist organizations. They have done so despite the official but half-heartedly-imposed ban. Equally, they successfully held a European-wide "Fight Night," an international gathering of ultranationalist fighters, even if at an improvised venue, because of police pressure on the owner of the original site.
However, the birthday event was aimed, in addition to self-congratulation, at highlighting the organization's extended international relationships.
