Italian Fascist Movement CasaPound Italia Celebrates 20th Anniversary, Receives Congratulations From Pro-Hezbollah, Neo-Nazi, White Supremacist Groups

On December 26, 2023, the Italian fascist movement CasaPound Italia, established as a network of far-right social groups and formerly a political party, celebrated the 20th anniversary of its founding. A variety of fascist, white supremacist and neo-Nazi movements across Europe congratulated the movement, revealing their connections and ideological affiliation with it. Greetings From Hezbollah Supporters

A pro-Iranian, pro-Hezbollah and pro-Hamas channel, which also forwards posts from a French Euro-nationalist antisemitic activist forwarded a post from CasaPound's Naples branch. The video shows a CasaPound flag blowing in a natural landscape on the winter solstice. The accompanying message is a greeting used for the winter solstice: "Buon Sol invictus."

Support From Neo-Nazis

The French branch of an international neo-Nazi network shared an image of CasaPound's emblem with text reading, "Against the system, Youth lashes out, Whoever gives up is an executioner, It's the battle cry!"

A neo-Nazi hooligan channel shared a photo of numerous CasaPound flags being held up at a rally. The channel wrote: "On this day exactly 20 years ago, CasaPound was formed. Now recognized as one of the biggest Nationalist movements in Europe. Me ne frego [a Fascist-era slogan meaning, 'I don't care']! Congratulations to our friends from Rome."
