On December 21, 2022, in a historic first public appearance outside Ukraine since Russia's invasion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a visit to Washington, DC, where he met with President Biden at the White House and addressed a joint session of Congress.
During the address, Zelensky appealed for the continuing support of the United States, thanking Congress for the military aid that has already been provided and spoke directly to the American public, expressing gratitude for the moral support in the face of continuing Russian aggression. Zelensky spoke of his recent visit to the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk – a frontline holdout currently controlled by the Ukrainian military that is under constant assault from Russian and separatist forces – presenting a Ukrainian flag signed by the soldiers defending Bakhmut to the outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Throughout the war, neo-Nazis and white supremacists have been divided, with some expressing support for Ukraine due to the nation's historical anti-communism and ongoing issues with neo-Nazism, while others supported Russia's campaign against Ukraine and the West. However, neo-Nazis and white supremacists have been united in their opposition to Zelensky, whose Jewish heritage has made him a target for hate from antisemitic extremists. This opposition reached a new peak following Zelensky's visit to Washington, DC, with many far-right extremists sharing antisemitic conspiracy theories and expressing the hope that Zelensky might be killed during his visit.
The following report highlights neo-Nazis and white supremacists reacting on social media to Zelensky's visit to Washington, DC, with many using antisemitic slurs and espousing conspiracy theories. All reactions are from December 21 and December 22, 2022.

Neo-Nazis Hope Zelensky Will Be Killed
An ultranationalist with a large follower count commented on Zelensky's address to Congress In the comments section users discussed killing Zelensky and members of Congress.
"All them lying POS in one place and nothing happened. Seems like a wasted opportunity to me," stated one user.
Another user commented "Abort Zelensky!"
On Gab, an antisemitic QAnon adherent posted a response to Zelensky's address in Congress, stating: "Hang all of these treasonous Satanic NWO Communists."
On Gab a neo-Nazi wrote in response to another post about Congress giving more aid to Ukraine, "Somebody fucking get arrested already. Fuck that just shoot the mother fuckers."
