Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, And Eco-Extremists Mourn Passing Of Unabomber Ted Kaczynski

Ted Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, was found dead in his jail cell in a medical prison in Butner, North Carolina on June 10, 2023. Many tributes to Kaczynski were published soon after his death was announced. Some mourned his passing and called for the preservation of his legacy. Others made threats, and some outlets minimized Kaczynski's violence and focused on his writings and his Harvard education. The following report features reactions from various social media platforms.

Neo-Nazis And White Supremacists Mourn Kaczynski

Although Kaczynski did not endorse Nazi or white supremacist ideology, he has attracted many neo-Nazi and white supremacist followers, many of whom  select ideas from Kaczynski's anti-tech ideology to suit their narrative. Multiple neo-Nazis wrote that Kaczynski’s predicted the reality we are currently inhabiting.

One social media user posted the suggestion that arson be committed to honor Kaczynski.

 

A January 6 rally participant who was recently released from prison mourned Kaczynski in a social media post.
