Hamas's Letter Of Appreciation To Attaullah Mobariz, Editor Of Afghan Taliban's Hewad Newspaper: 'Your Purposeful Media Work Forms An Indispensable Part Of The Palestinian Struggle'

On September 5, 2024, Attaullah Mobariz, the chief editor of Afghan Taliban's Hewad daily, published a photo of an appreciation letter he received from Hamas's Political Office in Doha.

"I thank the Political Office of the Islamic Hamas Movement for awarding me a letter of appreciation for my media coverage of Gaza-related issues," Mobariz tweeted in Pashtu language.

Following is the text of the letter:

"Mr. Attaullah Mobariz,

"The Chief Editor of Hewad newspaper,

"Your tireless efforts in documenting and publishing the events and facts of Palestine, and in conveying the voice of the Palestinian people and their struggles to the world, and especially to the Afghan brothers, are commendable.

"You have demonstrated through your diligent and sincere work that journalism is not just a profession but a noble message that you carry out with full integrity and responsibility.

"We commend your persistence and insistence in revealing the truths and presenting the genuine picture of what is happening in Palestine despite all the challenges and difficulties. "We ask that Allah grants you success and paves the way for your steps, that your pen remains free and your voice rises in the path of truth, and that the message of the Palestinian people reaches to the world and especially to Afghans.
