On May 10, 2024, "The Iranian Military Capacities," a Telegram channel affiliated with Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), shared a post praising the military performance of Iran-backed factions in the region against Israel, suggesting that they are making a great advance towards the final victory.[1]

'Al-Qassam's Military & Political Success'

Discussing the situation in Gaza, the channel claimed that the Palestinian factions are still preforming as well as they had in the first days of the war.

Singling out the military wing of Hamas, the Izzeddin Al-Qassam Brigades, the post boasted about the fighting in east Rafah, saying that the group has been using the Rajum rocket system, heavy mortar shells - Yassin shells. Tandem rocket and thermobaric rocket rounds have destroyed Israeli tanks, vehicles, and bulldozers, among others.

The message further noted that the international opposition to Israel's plan to expand the military operation in Rafah is part of the political victory that the Palestinian factions have earned. Acknowledging the high casualties among Palestinians, the post emphasized that victories require sacrifices.

"Houthis' Impressive Triumphs"

When talking about Yemen, the post asserted that Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthis) are making impressive triumphs, arguing that the "the Red, Arab, and Mediterranean Seas, the Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean" are now fully under the Houthis' fire, citing the recent attack on several Israeli ships.

"Hizballah’s Forcing Israelis To Leave Their Towns"

As for Lebanon, the post claimed that "in just three days," Hizbullah had carried out 26 operations, with drones, rockets, and missiles, in which it targeted Israeli buildings, bases, vehicles, tanks, and espionage sites.

It boasted that Hizbullah attacks against northern Israel had forced many Israelis to leave their towns. The post also claimed that Hizbullah attacks are causing heavy casualties among Israeli soldiers, but the media continues to censor them.

"Iraqi Factions Clearly Escalating Attacks"

The Iraqi factions have clearly escalated their attacks, the post claimed, stating that the Iraqi militias had carried out several operations using cruise missiles and suicide drones, targeting "the Leviathan gas platform, the Obda base, the Elifalet base, the Ashkelon oil port, the Nevatim base, the Spur site, and sensitive targets in Eilat."

"Iran Provides Necessary Supply"

As for Iran, "it continues to do its part militarily by supplying the resistance [factions] with what it should provide them with, and we cannot talk here about these military secrets related to this file and we will let the battlefield speak for itself," concluded the post.
