On August 29, 2024, Hizb-ut-Tahrir Pakistan shared two Urdu-language statements, one discussing Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir's meeting with a visiting Chinese military general Li Qiaoming and the other noting the statement of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding a new United Nations report criticizing Israel's role in Gaza.

Both statements stress the need for a second Rashidun Caliphate to end the oppression of Muslims and activate the mujahideen for the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem. The first Rashidun Caliphate was run following the death of Muhammad, the founder of Islam, by succeeding four righteous caliphs.

The statements were shared on Twitter along with hashtags such as #ArmiesToAqsa and #Time4Khilafah. The first statement is titled "The Caliphate Will Force China To Surrender On Its Knees Again" while the second (attached with the tweet in the form of a text-based image) is titled "Only The Rashidun Caliphate Will End The Heinous Crimes Of The Jewish Existence [Israel]."

Following is the statement about Pakistan army chief's meeting with the Chinese general:

"On August 26, 2024, the Army Chief [General Asim Munir] met with [Li Qiaoming,] the commander of the People's Liberation Army Ground Forces. According to the army's media department, the Chinese general praised Pakistan's continuous efforts in the fight against terrorism and extremism. However, China itself is a terrorist state engaged in a war against Muslims in the occupied East Turkestan [i.e., China's Xinjiang province].

"Despite this oppression and brutality against Muslims, China wants the Pakistani army to serve as its security guard for its regional economic projects [such as Gwadar port in Baluchistan province].

"Ibn Kathir stated in Al-Bidaya wa Al-Nihaya how in 96 AH, [714 CE, the Governor of Khurasan] Qutaiba bin Muslim led the armed forces of the Caliphate in the conquest of Kashgar [city in Xinjiang] in China. Fearing further advances, the Emperor of China paid a large sum and even sent Chinese soil so that Qutaiba could fulfill his vow to step on it.

"Only the establishment of the Rashidun Caliphate will free Muslims [of Pakistan] from this humiliating life."

Following is the statement about Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's remarks regarding the UN report on Israel:

"On August 24, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the latest UN report was 'appalling' and provided fresh evidence of 'Israeli' crimes of 'genocide' against the oppressed Palestinian people. The crimes of the Jewish entity [i.e., Israel] began in 1948, long before this new report.

"But the rulers of the Muslim world have no interest in ending these heinous crimes. They only issue statements, as if they are very concerned about the Muslims of Palestine. The Muslim Ummah continues to call for the mobilization of its armed forces and mujahideen in support of Gaza. Despite this, these rulers did not take any significant military action against the Jewish existence.

"Muslims should join the struggle for establishment of a Rashidun Caliphate. The caliph of the Rashidun Caliphate will mobilize the armed forces of Muslims and their mujahideen to eliminate the Zionist occupation in a few hours."
