Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad: There Is No Evidence Six Million Jews Were Killed In The Holocaust; U.S. Financially Helped The Rise Of Nazism Between The Two World Wars – December 2023

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad said that the Jews "who came to Palestine," are pagan converts from Khazars, and not the People of Israel, in a December 18, 2023 speech posted on Syrian Arab news Agency on YouTube. He said that there is no evidence that six million Jews died in the Holocaust and that the Nazis did not employ a special method of torture or killing for the Jews, who were killed just like other victims of World War II. Al-Assad continued to say that the Holocaust was "politicized" and used as a false pretext to transfer the Jews from Europe to Palestine. He also claimed that America was the one who supported the rise of the Nazi in Germany between the world wars.

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad: There Is No Evidence Six Million Jews Were Killed In The Holocaust; U.S. Financially Helped The Rise Of Nazism Between The Two World Wars – August 2023

Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad discussed many issues in an interview with Sky News Arabia (UAE) that aired on August 9, 2023. He said that he cannot possibly agree to Turkish President Erdoğan's preconditions for a meeting between the two leaders, because Syria seeks a Turkish withdrawal from its territory while Erdoğan seeks to "legalize" Turkey's occupation in Syria under the pretext of fighting terrorism. Al-Assad continued to say that Jabhat Al-Nusra or Ahrar Al-Sham were actually created in Turkey and continue to be bankrolled by Turkey.

Regarding talks with the United States, he said that there have been "sporadic" discussions between the two countries, but he does not "entertain any hopes" that there will be "any outcome" to negotiations with the Americans "in the near future."

Al-Assad said that the Hamas leaders took a "treacherous stance" against Syria and that it is too early to talk about restoring relations with them.

When asked by Sky News Arabia, whether like he became president following the death of his father, President Hafez Al-Assad, his son Hafez, intends to "play a political role in the future of Syria," Bashar Al-Assad responded that his late father played no role in his becoming president. He added that his father had not discussed a future succession even during his final days of illness and he too does not intend to discuss such details with his son. However, Al-Assad added, that it is up to his personal wishes and the country's acceptance of "any person," who wants to join public service.

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad In Russian Outlet Interview: We Welcome More Russian Military Bases In Syria, As Well As The Deployment Of Zircon Hypersonic Missiles And Other Advanced Weapon Systems – March 2023

On March 16, 2023, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) published an interview given by Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad to the Sputnik News Agency (Russia). President Al-Assad said that the BRICS countries have begun distancing themselves from the U.S. and the Western "bloc" and that when an alternative to the U.S. dollar becomes available, the U.S. will no longer be able to control other countries' economies. He also said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, his "army of Nazis," and the Islamist terrorists in the region are fighting "on behalf" of the West, and he claimed that the U.S. bases in Syria house terrorists which are deployed against Syrian regime forces. In addition, he said that Russia would be better able to "defend" itself if it expanded its military presence in Syria, and he explained that Russian bases in Syria should house advanced weapons, such as hypersonic missiles, in order to create deterrence and establish a global balance of power.

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad: The 'Zionist Jew' Zelensky Supports Nazi Collaborators – This Proves That The West Has No Real Values, Only Cares About World Domination, Money – March 2022

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad said in a March 17, 2022 address in honor of Syrian Teachers' Day that aired on Al-Ikhbariya TV (Syria) that the West does not have any principles and that it only cares about world domination and material interests. Explaining that the West's only enemies are those who stand in the way of its interests and that the West and Zionism are not fundamentally opposed to Nazism, Al-Assad gave the example of how Ukrainian President Zelensky is a "Zionist Jew," yet supports Ukrainian Nazi groups. Al-Assad said that this is ironic considering that "Zionist Israel" claims to cry over the victims of the Holocaust.

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad Denies Use of Chemical Weapons, Adds: The Terrorist Organizations Are Proxies of the U.S.; Al-Baghdadi Was Trained and Supervised by U.S. Government – November 2019

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad said in an interview on Russia Today that was published on November 10, 2019 that the Syrian Army did not use chemical weapons before handing its stockpile over to the international community and that the accusations and purported evidence of rebel groups using chemical weapons that were given to them by the regime are faked. He said that many members of the White Helmets are terrorists, that the White Helmets are a PR stunt, and that they are an offshoot of the Al-Nusra Front. President Al-Assad also said that Western accusations that Syria attacks humanitarian targets and kills its own people are false and misleading narratives. In addition, he said that the United States uses terrorist groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda as proxies in order to maintain its hegemony in the region and that Israel is also working with terrorist organizations against the Syrian government. He added that ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, who was recently killed by American forces, had been trained, supervised, and handled by the United States government and that his death is an attempt by America to whitewash its involvement with terrorist organizations. Al-Assad also said that the Qatari government had paid demonstrators in Syria during the Arab Spring.

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad: It Is Possible that Al-Baghdadi Has Been Kidnapped, Hidden, Or Had His Appearance Surgically Altered; Israel Has Been Behind The Scenes Throughout The War; Erdoğan Is Our Enemy – November 2019

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad was interviewed on Syria TV on October 31, 2019. He said that the extremist Wahhabi doctrine represented by Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi and ISIS will continue to exist even after ISIS is gone and that Al-Baghdadi had been released from American prisons in Syria in order to lead ISIS. Questioning whether Al-Baghdadi was really killed by the Americans, President Al-Assad suggested that he may have already been dead or that he may have been kidnapped, hidden, or had his appearance surgically altered. He said that the American operation to kill Al-Baghdadi was a trick and that American politics rely on imagination and resemble Hollywood.

Later in the interview, President Al-Assad said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is Syria’s enemy and that U.S President Donald Trump is the best president America has ever had because he is transparent about American policy and America’s interest in Middle Eastern oil. In addition, President Al-Assad said that even though Turkey is occupying parts of Syria, negotiating with it would not suggest that Syria could also negotiate with Israel, because Syria does not recognize Israel as a state or the Israelis as a people the way it does Turkey and the Turks. He also said that Syria wants to gradually regain sovereignty in Kurdistan. Furthermore, President Al-Assad said that Israel’s influence is ever present in Syria, that Israel’s involvement in the Syrian civil war is a given even though it is not openly apparent, and that everything that has taken place in Syria has served the interests of Israel through proxies, agents, flunkies, or the United States. The English-subtitled version of the interview was uploaded to the Syrian Presidency’s YouTube channel.
