Introduction

Imran Nazar Hosein, who was born in 1942 in the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago to descendants of indentured laborers from India, is an internationally recognized Islamic scholar. He has studied at the world's leading institutes, including Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the University of Karachi, the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies in Karachi, and the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva.[1] Imran Nazar Hosein has also served as a Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the government of Trinidad and Tobago.

In recent years, Imran Nazar Hosein has traveled to several countries, such as Trinidad and Tobago, South Africa, Indonesia, and Malaysia, to deliver lectures on Islam and contemporary issues. A study of his recent lectures reveals that Imran Nazar Hosein has consistently promoted antisemitism and conspiracy theories against the U.S. and Israel. In early 2012, on a tour of Malaysia, he delivered a speech on Dajjal (antichrist), accusing Jews of controlling the banking sector with the goal of enslaving mankind.[2] His books and lectures are widely read by his followers in the Western countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and others. His analytical framework revolves around Dajjal, the antichrist and impersonator.

In the Muslim world, there are two conceptions of Dajjal: one is a scholarly version outlined by Islamic scholars over the years, and the other is a popular version; though there is a growing merging of the two versions in a way that the popular version is replacing the scholarly version. In the scholarly conception, Dajjal will be born when Jesus is reborn. Dajjal will make attempts to mislead people in every aspect of day-to-day life, and those who follow him will believe they are entering heaven, as shown by him, but which will in fact be hell. Those who reject Dajjal will seem to be entering hell, but it will in fact be heaven.

However, in the popular Muslim perception, Dajjal is a one-eyed, monstrous, powerful, and bloodthirsty mischief-maker out to corrupt Muslims in every sphere of their daily life, in order to divide the ummah (Muslim community). In the contemporary era of prevalent antisemitism in the Muslim world, Jews – who are understood as synonymous with Zionists and Israel – are seen as a version of Dajjal out to cause, in alliance with Christians and other non-Muslim nations, mischief among Muslims by spreading political and economic systems such a democracy and capitalism, which are seen as causing the elimination of Islamic beliefs and practices from the daily life of Muslims.

In his speeches and articles, Imran Nazar Hosein blames everything that could be explained as the reason for the downfall of Islamic caliphate as the work of Dajjal, such as that paper currency was introduced by the Zionists in order to control worldwide markets. Hosein treats Israel, Zionists, and Jews as a single entity at the heart of a global conspiracy against Islam, along with the U.S. and other Western countries and institutions such as the United Nations.

According to his official website, Imran Nazar Hosein lived in New York for 10 years, during which he served as the Director of Islamic Studies for the Joint Committee of Muslim Organizations of Greater New York.[3] While in the U.S., Hosein led the weekly Friday prayers at the Masjid Dar al-Qur'an in Long Island, New York, and, in addition to lecturing on Islam in the U.S. and Canada, "delivered the sermon at the United Nations headquarters in Manhattan once a month for ten years continuously."[4] In 1996, he also served as an advisory board member of the New Brunswick, NJ-based Kafala Community Services. He does not travel to the United States, the UK, Europe, and Australia, according to a note on his website.

Imran Nazar Hosein also was connected to the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), served as Director of Research of the World Muslim Congress (WMC) in Karachi, as Director of the Islamic Institute for Education and Research in Miami, Florida, and as Director of D'awah for Tanzeem-e-Islami of North America. Tanzeem-e-Islami is an extremist Islamic religious organization founded in Pakistan, which was in news headlines in January 2011 when one of its followers, while deployed as a member of the Pakistani government's elite security guard to protect Punjab Governor Salman Taseer, killed him for advocating reforms in Pakistan's blasphemy laws. Tanzeem-e-Islami America also founded the Institute of Qur'anic Wisdom in New York, which was led in its early years by, among others, Nasr Sherif, an Egyptian pathologist with Quest Diagnostics Medical Laboratories. In his speeches, Imran Nazar Hosein frequently cites examples from Pakistan to illustrate how the country has moved on the path defined by Dajjal, rather than Islamic scholars.

The Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies (AIIS), Karachi – The Alma Mater Of Imran Nazar Hosein – Was "Established To Prepare… Missionaries Of Islam"

Imran Nazar Hosein graduated in 1971 with a degree in Islamic Studies from the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies (AIIS), a leading Islamic seminary based in the Pakistani city of Karachi. The AIIS was established in 1964 by renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Muhammad Fazlur Rahman Al-Ansari Al-Qadri, the founding president of the World Federation of Islamic Missions (WFIM), who began imparting short-duration courses on Islamic theology and philosophy in 1958 in Arabic and English, thereby attracting students from across the world. The surname "Al-Qadri" indicates that the Islamic seminary belongs to the Barelvi school of Sunni Islam. Both the AIIS and the WFIM operate from their headquarters in Karachi, Pakistan.

Dr. Muhammad Fazlur Rahman Al-Ansari Al-Qadri (1914-1974) – who studied for some time in Hitler-ruled Germany – travelled across the world, stressing the message of Islamic revival. According to a report, "During his five world missionary tours he affiliated 40 organizations to the World Federation of Islamic Missions. The Muslim minorities in Latin America, Africa, South East Asia, and elsewhere were confronted by a hostile, non-Muslim majority. Their only defense was their sentimental attachment to Islam…. He knew that Muslim minorities could not respond to the challenges of secular modernity unless their religious scholars were conversant with modern thought. This is why he established the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies in Karachi…."[5]

On its website, the AIIS notes that over the years its students have come from the following countries: the United Kingdom, Canada, Algeria, Nigeria, France, Sierra Leone, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, Yemen, Mauritius, Trinidad, Thailand, Kenya, the Philippines, South Africa, Fiji Islands, Seychelles, Ghana, Namibia, Suriname, Malawi, Uganda, Malaysia, Tanzania, Indonesia and Guyana.[6] The seminary also ensures that the foreign students, while undertaking their courses in Islamic theology, are able to graduate with mainstream degrees like BA, MA, and PhD from the University of Karachi.[7]

On its website, the WFIM notes that the objective of the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies is to prepare missionaries of Islam. It states: "The Institute was established to prepare such missionaries of Islam who may reach out the Message of Islam successfully to all the ideological groups of mankind which is the crying need of Islam today. The preparation of such Muslim missionaries is only possible if they are fully equipped with Islamic learning and modern thoughts. The institute… designed a six-year graduation course consisting of Islamic learning and modern philosophical and social thoughts to enable the Ulama [Islamic scholars] to know… first hand the problems, the doubts and the difficulties which [confront modern mind]…. All essential subjects like study of the Holy Qur'an, the Life of the Holy Prophet… Islamic jurisprudence, Islamic history, psychology, ethics, metaphysics, character building… are included in the curriculum…."[8]

Imran Nazar Hosein also served as principal of the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies. It also appears that the AIIS has the patronage of an Islamic organization based in the UK, the Islamic Society of Britain (ISB). According to a statement on the website of the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies, "The Islamic Society of Britain (ISB) was established in 1990 by prominent British Muslims to support an increasingly confident generation of Muslims growing up in the UK. It was one of the first organizations that sought to evolve a uniquely British flavor of Islam. In order for this to happen the ISB felt that Muslims would have to think seriously about understanding their faith in a British context."[9]

Imran Nazar Hosein Rules Out Unity Between Muslims And Non-Muslims, Cites Koranic Verse: "To You Be Your Way, And To Me Mine"

As the Director of D'awah for the Tanzeem-e-Islami of North America, Imran Nazar Hosein authored a 40-page booklet, titled "Why Tanzeem-e-Islami?" The booklet, which is available as PDF on the Internet, was first published in 1997 by Tanzeem-e-Islami North America. In the booklet, he cites examples from early Islam to argue that Muslims cannot live in unity with non-Muslims, noting that such an injunction is stated in the Koran, and Muslims must not express allegiance to, for example, the U.S. constitution.

Imran Nazar Hosein wrote: "The kuffar [infidels] of Mecca once [in the early days of Islam, when Muslims were few in number] proposed a compromise formula which would, if accepted, have restored the unity of Meccan society, but would have had the effect of dismantling the jama'ah [literally 'group,' but here meaning society of Muslims], or flock of exclusively Muslim sheep. 'If you will worship our gods, we will worship your God' - that was the formula which they offered. It was rejected [in the Koran]. Allah ta'alah responded to that formula by sending down surah al-Kafiroon [chapter in Koran] in which he commanded the Prophet to declare to the kuffar: 'Say: Oh you who reject faith (in Islam), I worship not that which you worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which you have been wont to worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. To you be your way, and to me mine [originally bold].' (Qur'an: 109:1-6)"[10]

The Koranic verse "To you be your way, and to me mine" is frequently cited by moderate Muslims and liberal interpreters of Islam to argue that Islam promotes co-existence and pluralism. But as per the interpretation by Hosein, this verse was revealed by Allah not to promote pluralism and coexistence but to ensure that the unity of the Muslims of Mecca with the non-Muslims of the time did not materialize.

In the booklet, he went on to argue that the formation of Islamic centers or Islamic circles by Muslims of North America does not meet the requirements of Islamic law, because anyone who is elected as a head of such a Muslim organization would have not only expressed allegiance to the U.S. constitution, but would have also been using credit cards and perhaps taken loans from U.S. banks, which are forms of usury not permitted in Islam. Hosein argues that only an Islamic organization like the Tanzeem-e-Islami can lead the Muslims of non-Muslim societies, and the leader of such Islamic organization must be obeyed by all Muslims. He wrote: "The overwhelming majority of immigrant Muslims will offer the pledge of allegiance to the American Constitution to obtain U.S. citizenship. And that is shirk [idolatry]! The majority will borrow money on interest to buy houses, cars, refrigerators, washing machines, etc. The majority will use credit cards. And that is riba [usury]! Indeed it will only be a matter of time before many of their children, or grandchildren, will eat bacon and eggs for breakfast, drink wine, and use paper instead of water for personal hygiene (istinja) after using the toilet!"[11]

"I Have Long Suspected That The 2004 Tsunami Was Provoked By An Underwater Nuclear Explosion [By The U.S.]"; "[Israel Wants to] Destroy Pakistan's And Iran's Nuclear Plants"; "The Pro-Israeli Egyptian, Saudi, And Pakistani Governments And Armed Forces Are Almost Certainly Going To Provide Covert Assistance To Israel"

In recent years, Imran Nazar Hosein has examined the ten major signs that will denote the coming of the Day of Judgment, as prophesied by Prophet Muhammad. In an essay in 2005, he argued that Hurricane Katrina, which devastated New Orleans and the surrounding region, was the "sinking of the earth" – one of the signs prophesied by Prophet Muhammad. However, he later amended his view regarding Hurricane Katrina, but went on to state that the 2004 tsunami in the Indian Ocean was caused by an underwater nuclear explosion supposedly carried out by the U.S. In a June 2010 article, Imran Nazar Hosein explained:[12]

"It now seems that I was wrong in recognizing the New Orleans event as the second sinking of the earth. But it also appears that I may not have passed far from the target. Petroleum engineers are increasingly of the opinion that the massive oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico cannot be stopped without a nuclear explosion detonated on or below the sea-bed. But a nuclear explosion on or below the sea bed in the Gulf of Mexico can possibly result in that second sinking of the earth. It can also provoke a huge gas explosion, as well as spawn another fearsome tsunami (and Allah Knows best). I have long suspected that the 2004 Tsunami was provoked by an underwater nuclear explosion [supposedly by the U.S.]. If my suspicion is correct then it appears that 'chickens are coming home to roost.'

"We must now wait for news of massive evacuation of towns, cities, and villages on the southern coast of USA for confirmation that a seabed nuclear explosion is imminent [in order to stop the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico]. If a seabed nuclear explosion were to provoke a dramatic sinking of the earth with an attendant tsunami and gas explosion it would provide the perfect world-wide diversion that both Israel and USA would gleefully exploit to accomplish evil goals they have been pursuing for quite some time….

"Israel on the other hand has been impatiently waiting to provoke the messianic war or wars that she so anxiously wants to launch in order to achieve a number of objectives, some of which are as follows: 1. destroy Pakistan's and Iran's nuclear plants in order to eliminate any possible nuclear threat to Israel; 2. provoke regime change in Turkey through a military coup d'état in order to get rid of both Turkey's pro-Islamic government as well as the Turkish-Iranian alliance that is blossoming; 3. expand the territory of the imposter so-called Holy State of Israel until it encompasses its (false) biblical frontiers.

"Ultimately of course, Israel wants to replace USA, as USA had previously replaced Britain, as the ruling state in the world, in order that a false Messiah or Antichrist might fraudulently claim from Jerusalem to be the true Messiah.

"Israel is not alone in the world. She has many friends and clients who would support her in her coming messianic war or wars. Apart from the European world, which has been waging messianic war on Islam since the beginning of the Crusades, Israel can depend on clients within the world of Islam to provide strategic assistance. The pro-Israeli Egyptian, Saudi, and Pakistani governments and armed forces are almost certainly going to provide covert assistance to Israel…."

"Pakistan Armed Forces, Led By Pakistani Zionists, Have Shamelessly And Criminally Assisted And Supported NATO In The Unjust Military Occupation Of Afghanistan"

In late-2011, Imran Nazar Hosein was on a lecture tour of Indonesia. In a letter dated December 27, 2011 and addressed to his followers from Pakistan, Hosein said that he was unable to assess the authenticity of a prophecy of Prophet Muhammad regarding Ghazwa-e-Hind (the Battle of India), as per which Muslim armies will one day conquer India and march on to present-day Israel to join with the forces of Jesus to claim Islamic victory. However, in the letter he added the following:[13]

"But I have also expressed the view that if an end-time Muslim army is to conquer Hind (assuming that Hind refers to modern-day India alone) then that Muslim army of mujahideen cannot be the Pakistan Armed Forces, which for the last ten years (at least) have been led by men who have betrayed Allah and His Messenger [Prophet Muhammad] and the innocent Muslims of Afghanistan, while joining in the American-led so-called war on terror (a euphemism for war on Islam).

"No one needs to inform me that there are many good Muslims in the ranks of the Pakistan Armed Forces. I know of that, and indeed some of them are my students. The fact remains, however, that the Pakistan Armed Forces, led by Pakistani Zionists, have shamelessly and criminally assisted and supported NATO in the unjust military occupation of Afghanistan and the slaughter of innocent Pakistanis as well. If Pakistanis could do so today, they would lynch those traitors.

"I denounce traitors, and I keep my distance from those who beat drums on their behalf. If Pakistan is attacked by NATO, it is my intention Insha Allah [Allah willing], to travel myself to Pakistan and to stand by my Muslim brothers and sisters in their moment of greatest danger…."

"Dajjal Is Almost Ruling The World Now; In Order For Him To Rule The World, He Had To First Take The Holy Land, Bring The Jews Back, Create Israel… And Make Israel The Ruling State In The World, And That's About To Happen Within The Next Few Months"

Speaking at Masjid Al-Falah in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on June 2, 2012, Imran Nazar Hosein addressed Malaysian Muslims on the subject of "Dajjal's Corruption of Money." According to a video of the speech available on YouTube, he stated:[14]

"[The contemporary world] began with the transformation of Western Christianity – not Russia, not Greece, not Poland, not Hungary, not Bulgaria – no; I am talking about Britain, France, and Germany and Spain and Italy and the United States. This Western Christian, who has somebody called a Pope in Rome…. From this part of the world emerged the modern Western civilization with a power unlike anything that the mankind has ever seen, but it was essentially a godless civilization; you go to the church on Sunday morning and then come back home, and for the rest of the week Dajjal is in charge….

"This essentially godless civilization uses power to oppress, and the first target they had was the Muslim world…. It was not by accident at all that this Western Christian colonialism came over the world of Islam, colonizing us…. It was Dajjal… the impersonator [as messiah]; the true messiah is Prophet Jesus. And when Prophet Jesus returns – Prophet Muhammad says – he's returning as Hakim [ruler] to rule, and his rule is not going to be subject to the authority of the Security Council of the United Nations….

"Dajjal is almost ruling the world now. In order for him to rule the world, he had to first take the Holy Land, bring the Jews back, create Israel - he's done all that already - and make Israel the ruling state in the world, and that's about to happen within the next few months I believe. I expect Israel to launch wars [against] Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Egypt. And when Israel launches these wars, I expect that Israel will trap the United States to bring them down; Israel will bring the United States down to replace the United States [as superpower]. So, I expect, and you all know it already, that Israel will bring down the U.S. dollar; that's what the Zionists are doing.

"And Israel will probably trap the United States in a military trap. And the United States is facing military defeat. And Israel will have to intervene to save the United States. If you live for another few years, you will probably see it. And Israel takes over from the United States as the ruling state; that's coming…. Every regime in the world of Islam which refuses to submit will have to be attacked so that Israel can rule the world….

"When Israel rules the world, then a man is going to emerge… he's going to come from Khorasan [Afghanistan and its neighborhood] but in Jerusalem he is going to declare, 'I am the messiah'… But he would not be the messiah; he would be the false messiah – Dajjal. [Editorial note: After this sentence, the speaker shifts from future tense into past tense.] In order for him to achieve that goal of ruling the world, he had to first create the modern Western civilization, godless, decadent, oppressive…. and apply that scientific and technological revolution to the military, and so the world of Islam could not stand up; and then they colonized the world of Islam…."

"Dajjal … Corrupted Not Only The Political System, He Corrupted The Market"; The Market Is Controlled By The Zionists; And The Zionists Decide When Something [i.e. Price] Needs To Go Up And The Zionists Decide How Much It Must Go Up"

Continuing his speech at Masjid Al-Falah in Kuala Lumpur, Imran Nazar Hosein dismissed Western countries which do not accept the authority of Allah in Islamic countries, and said: "Our Khilafah [caliphate] and our Dar al-Islam [Land of Islam] is coming back…. We probably have to wait only 20-25 years for the Khilafah to be restored…. You were taken for a ride by Dajjal… and that's where you are now with your Pakistani nationalism, Bangladeshi nationalism, and your Iranian nationalism [instead of non-territorial global Islamic nationalism]…; Dajjal did something else…; he corrupted not only the political system, he corrupted the market; he corrupted the money…. We used dinar and dirham as money for 1400 years… but you have been brainwashed…. As soon as Pakistan came into being, the Pakistani Rupee came into being; the bogus, and fraudulent and utterly haram [forbidden] piece of paper, that instrument of financial enslavement….

"What is money in Islam? Do we have right to ask that question? .... In Chapter Ale Imran [of Koran], Allah speaks of… dinar [made of gold coin, not of paper]; that is money in the Koran, the dinar made of gold, that's the money the prophets used, that's the money the Aslaf [the predecessors] used, that's the money we Muslims used for 1400 years. When you go to Chapter Yousuf… [there's mention of] dirahima, plural of dirham… This is our money [along with dinar]…. In Sahih Muslim [a book of Muhammad's sayings], the Prophet said, 'when an exchange involves gold for gold, or silver for silver, or wheat for wheat, or barley for barley, or dates for dates… or salt for salt, it must be equal for equal, it must be hand to hand,' meaning it is prohibited to have a credit transaction… it must be a cash transaction, not credit, hand to hand; if not – it would be riba [usury]….

"In order for Dajjal to rip us off, he took the gold dinar and dirham out of the market. And so when Pakistan was born, on the very first day of its birth… it was brought into being with a bogus piece of paper, which is pretending to be money, paper currency.... Only Allah can create wealth out of nothing… but Dajjal has done it by giving to the piece of paper an entirely fictitious value; he has created wealth out of nothing…. Dajjal is the mastermind; while one part of the world is growing poorer and poorer and poorer; those countries which follow Dajjal are growing richer and richer and richer. If you go to Manhattan and you carry Pakistani Rupees in your wallet… you can't buy even a cup of coffee with it…; but if you take an American dollar to any little village in Pakistan or Bangladesh, India, or Indonesia, you can buy whatever you want….

"This paper money is the corruption of money, and it has come through Dajjal; and they have already used it to rip off mankind… and they can buy all the oil from Saudi Arabia free of charge, you just print the paper…. In 1971, when the United States reneged on its obligation under international law to redeem U.S. dollars for gold… they needed a substitute to keep the dollar high, so [that] the United States remained ruling state in the world… So the fool King Saud Al-Faisal [of Saudi Arabia], they went to him in 1973 when the war took place and the Arabs imposed the oil embargo on the United States, and suddenly the price of oil … [began] going up because the market is controlled by the Zionists; and the Zionists decide when something needs to go up and the Zionists decide how much it must go up. So when you buy a gold dinar today, when you buy a silver dirham today, guess who determines the price you pay for it…."

Imran Nazar Hosein argued that the U.S. convinced King Al-Faisal to sell oil only for dollars in return for protecting his rule over Saudi Arabia, and said: "Since 1973, the U.S. dollar has flown high, thanks to Saudi Arabia because the oil is the largest commodity traded in the world, it became the trading dollar…. All those working for Dajjal – their money is strong, it's called hard money; and our money looks like soft money; so there is a constant demand for their money; so they are going richer and richer… and we are going poorer and poorer...."

"[Ottoman Rulers Disregarded Prophet Muhammad's Prophecy by Attacking the Romans/Eastern Christians] In Accord With Dajjal's Agenda Since It Was Western Christians Who Made An Alliance With Jews, And It Is That Alliance Which Brought Israel Into Being"

In a June 12, 2012 article titled "Medina Returns To The Center Stage In Akhir Al Zamaan [the Last Age]," Imran Nazar Hosein – in keeping with his analytical framework defined by Dajjal (Antichrist the impersonator) – explained the entire history of the past 1400 years that led to the downfall of the Islamic caliphate as the work of Western Christians and Jews. In the article, he also accused the Ottoman rulers of working against Eastern Christianity – a reference to the Roman Empire – in violation of Prophet Muhammad's prophecy that Muslims will make an end-­time alliance with Eastern Christians, or Rome. Following are excerpts from the article:[15]

"In ten years from now [i.e. in 2022] it will also be a hundred years since Mecca and Medina were taken out of Dajjal's Ottoman frying pan only to enter into Dajjal's Saudi­-Wahhabi fire. Let there be no doubt in the reader's mind that after having shamelessly aligned Saudi Arabia with the Zionist Anglo-­American Judeo-Christian alliance for the longest while, Saudi Arabia's leaders have now made that state a strategic ally of the Zionist State of Israel. And hence it is clear that they work for al­ Masih al-Dajjal, i.e., Dajjal the false Messiah or Anti­christ. This is perhaps the implication of the vision in which Prophet Muhammad… saw Dajjal making Tawaf [the Muslim ritual of circling] around the Kaaba.

"There is also considerable evidence that the Ottomans acted, consciously or unconsciously, on Dajjal's behalf by rendering considerable assistance to western Christianity. They did so by repeatedly plunging a vicious and venomous knife for some 600 years into the heart of its rival, i.e. eastern Christianity or Rum [i.e. Rome]. This was in accord with Dajjal's agenda since it was Western Christians who made an alliance with Jews, and it is that alliance which brought Israel into being. Rum [i.e. the Roman Empire] never made such an alliance with the Jews! The predictable result [of the Ottomans attacking the Romans] was intense hatred for Islam and hostility towards Muslims on the part of those in Rum who suffered so unjustly and for so long a period of time. Both the Ottoman state, as well as Saudi Arabia, mysteriously and wickedly disregarded the prophecy of the blessed Prophet that Muslims will make an end-­time alliance with Eastern Christianity or Rum. Hence both the Ottomans as well as the Saudi­-Wahhabis rendered strategic assistance to Dajjal.

"The Ottoman Empire conquered and occupied much of the Arab world – including the Hijaz [region in Saudi Arabia] – and succeeded in transferring the capital of the Khilafah (Caliphate) – for the first time ever – out of the Arab world to the former Christian Byzantine city of Constantinople in Euro­Asia. The Ottomans hardly had any credentials to rule over the heart­land of Islam. Yet, in accordance with Dajjal's plan, they did so for more than 400 years until a European-­engineered Arab Spring [of the early 1920s] dismantled Ottoman rule, destroyed the institution of the Khilafah, and installed pro-Western rulers over the Arabs (including the Hijaz). The destruction of the Khilafah and transfer of power to pro-Western Arab rulers paved the way for a state of Israel to be successfully established in a Holy Land that was located in the very heart of the Arab world. Without 400 years of imperial Ottoman rule over the Arabs, followed by that 'Arab Spring,' the Zionist State of Israel could never have been established.…"

"Saudi Arabia Could Bury The Khilafah And Continue To Maintain Fraternal Ties With The Zionist West With No Significant Scholarly [Islamic] Religious Opposition"; "This Writer Expects Those Wars [Forecast By The Prophet] To Commence Within The Next Few Months"; "Those Wars Will Eventually Provoke Civil War In Turkey"

Although Imran Nazar Hosein did not authenticate, in his open letter to the Pakistani followers, the authenticity of the Ghazwa-e-Hind (the Battle of India), he did come out with an identical battle forecast by Prophet Muhammad set to occur in present-day Turkey. In the article titled "Medina Returns To The Center Stage In Akhir Al Zamaan [the Last Age]," Imran Nazar Hosein also interpreted the prophecy of Prophet Muhammad about how Muslim forces will align with the Eastern Christianity in the last age, claim victory over Istanbul, and rename the city as Constantinople. He observed:

"[W]hen the Saudi­-Wahhabis took over the Harmain al­-Sharifain [the Holy Mosques in Saudi cities of Mecca and Medina] they launched a sinister effort to exploit the Hajj of 1344 [1923 AD] to gain political and religious legitimacy in the world of Islam for their rule over the Hijaz and the Harmain. The effort failed. They then proceeded to exploit the city of the Prophet… for propagating an Islamic creed with a one­-eyed [biased] epistemology that robbed Arab Islamic scholarship of spiritual insight (firasah al­mu'min). Medina became a university town with an agenda of refashioning both Arab and non­-Arab Islamic thought in such [ways] that scholars could ensure that the purest expression of Islam would prevail in Medina. Instead, that 'purest' expression of Saudi Islam produced Islamic scholars who could no longer distinguish between appearance and reality in matters pertaining to Dajjal. As a consequence, Saudi Arabia could bury the Khilafah and continue to maintain fraternal ties with the Zionist West with no significant scholarly religious opposition….

"During these more than six centuries [of Ottoman Empire] while Medina remained a back­water town, and subsequently became a mournfully silent one­-eyed university town, a Judeo­-Christian Anglo-­American alliance (which nurtured the Zionist Movement from its very birth) moved incrementally and successfully to take Jerusalem to center-stage in world affairs. Prophet Muhammad… prophesied as much when he said: 'The flourishing state of Jerusalem will be when Yathrib (i.e., the city of Medina) will be desolate; the desolate state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes; the outbreak of the great war will be (followed by) the conquest of Constantinople; and the conquest of Constantinople will be (followed by) Dajjal's (Antichrist) coming forth…'

"This essay presents a viewpoint that we are now located at that moment in time when Jerusalem is flourishing while Medina, in comparison to Jerusalem, is in a state of silent mournful desolation – playing absolutely no role whatsoever in the affairs of either the world of Islam or the world at large. If this viewpoint is correct, then the implication would be that we can now expect great wars prophesied in the above Hadith [saying of Prophet Muhammad] to soon commence. This writer expects those wars to commence within the next few months of the publication of this essay. Those wars will eventually provoke civil war in Turkey which, in turn, will result in the prophesied end­-time conquest of Constantinople in contra­distinction to the barbarous Ottoman conquest of the city that was disgraceful and an embarrassment to Islam. It is only after the coming Islamic conquest of Constantinople, at which time the Cathedral of Hagia Sophia will be returned to the Eastern Christianity with an apology, and the city will recover the name of Constantinople….

"It is difficult to anticipate how the Turkish civil war will take place. But it [is] entirely possible that a Turkish military adventure into Syria to bring about such regime change as would advance the Zionist agenda, could provoke the Turkish Muslims to commence the effort to free Turkey from NATO's venomous embrace. That effort can be assisted by Arab fighters flocking to Turkey from all over the Arab world. The world can also witness fighters flowing into Turkey from Albania, Bosnia, Azerbaijan, and other neighboring territories…."

"The Present 'Arab Spring'… Was Judeo­-Christian­-European Crafted"; "The Israeli Forces Will Launch That Attack Because Of The Belief That Medina Is A Part Of The Holy Land (Since The Jews Lived In Medina For A Long Time)"

In the article, Imran Nazar Hosein went on to argue that like the Arab Spring of the early 1920s that led to the downfall of Ottoman Islamic rule, the present Arab Spring was crafted by the Jews and Western Christians. He wrote:

"There is evidence that the present 'Arab Spring' which commenced more than one year ago, like the one which preceded it one hundred years before, was Judeo­-Christian­-European crafted, and is meant to prepare the way for an Arab slaughter which will facilitate the imposition of Israeli political and economic dominion over the Arabs. It is almost certain that Zionists will soon wage biological war against the Arabs (on Dajjal's behalf) as prophesied by the Prophet [Muhammad], with which to bring about a substantial reduction in the population of the Arab world. There are several Ahadith [sayings of Prophet Muhammad] which inform us that neither plague nor Dajjal can enter Mecca and Medina….

"Our view, and Allah Knows best, is that this prophecy pertains to the biological attack on the Arabs that would be launched on Dajjal's behalf (hence the juxtaposition of plague with Dajjal in the Hadith). Hence our conclusion is that Mecca and Medina are destined to dramatically recover center­-stage in Islamic and world affairs when the two cities provide dramatic and providential safety at that time when the biological attack on the Arabs is launched….

"It is not at all difficult for us to anticipate large-­scale movement of Arabs to Mecca and Medina as soon as Israel commences her great wars. One can even expect that this essay might possibly provoke that movement to commence even before the wars begin. The Arabs will do so since they will be in a state of expectation of the epidemics that are prophesied to decimate or wipe out the Arabs. When Mecca and Medina are over­flowing with Arabs seeking safety and refuge from death by plague, that mass gathering will surely provoke a spontaneous and volatile combustion between those with the chemical of faith in Islam in their hearts on the one hand, and those who serve Dajjal on the other.

"It is easy today to recognize those Arabs who serve Dajjal since they are the ones who shamelessly and sinfully supported the recent unjust NATO overthrow of the Libyan regime, and are now beating drums in support of an equally unjust Israeli/Turkish/NATO war on Syria and on Iran. They have forgotten that the Qur'an has prohibited Muslims from being friends and allies of a Judeo­-Christian alliance (al-­Maida 5:51 [verse of Koran])….

"[Prophet Muhammad's] Ahadith indicate that Israel will eventually attack the Hijaz [Saudi Arabia]. At that time Dajjal will be the leader of the Jewish state. Perhaps the Israeli forces will launch that attack because of the belief that Medina is a part of the Holy Land (since the Jews lived in Madina for a long time). When Israeli forces land outside Medina, every supporter of the Zionists will leave the city to join the Israelis. The three times that Medina will shake (resulting in the city being emptied of all Kuffar [infidels] or disbelievers and Munafiqun or hypocrites) could, perhaps, represent three revolutionary Islamic uprisings [as forecast by Prophet Muhammad] that would send tremors around the world….

"[T]he angels would then divert the Israeli attack to Damascus and it would be at that time that Nabi 'Isa … [Prophet Jesus] the true Messiah would dramatically descend to kill Dajjal the false Messiah. It should please the heart of every sincere Muslim that the city of the Prophet… [Medina] is destined to play such a dramatic and strategic role…."
