In a Friday, January 21, 2022 sermon in Qaleh Raisi, Iran that was aired on Dena TV (Iran), the preacher Esmail Salavati said that revenge for the death of Qasem Soleimani is the "inalienable right" of the Islamic nation. He said that many people around the world are waiting for former U.S. President Trump and former Secretary of State Pompeo to be "dispatched to Hell," and he added that American officials need to know that they are targets whenever they go on missions abroad. Salavati made his remark in response to U.S. congressmen's call to stop the nuclear negotiations following the posting of an animated video depicting the assassination of former President Trump on Khaemeni's website and social media channels (see MEMRI TV clip 9303).

"Our Response To [The U.S.] Is: 'You Started It And Now You Must Pay'; Revenge For General Soleimani Is The Inalienable Right Of The Islamic Nation, And Islamic Iran Will Exact Revenge"
Esmail Salavati: "Some congressmen wanted to stop the nuclear negotiations because an animated video [about killing Trump] was published. John Kerry said that this was a threat to American national security. Our response is: You started it and now you must pay. Revenge for General Soleimani is the inalienable right of the Islamic nation, and Islamic Iran will exact that revenge.
"Many people, all over the world, are counting the seconds until Trump and Pompeo are dispatched to Hell.
"American Officials Need To Know That When Travelling Abroad On A Mission, Their Lives Will Not Be Safe Anymore"
"You have turned yourselves into targets. American officials need to know that when traveling abroad on a mission their lives will not be safe anymore. This fear and trepidation [about becoming a target] will shadow you until our revenge is completed. The shadow of revenge will follow Trump throughout his wretched life. All the freedom-seeking people of the world, wherever they may be, want to dispatch Trump straight to Hell."
