Your support is essential for MEMRI to meet its goals for this year, and to continue its research. We would like to follow up with you regarding our 2019 Summer fundraising campaign, as it is coming to an end.
MEMRI research helps Western governments better understand and respond to challenges emanating from the Middle East – from fighting terrorism, extremism and hatred to promoting reform and human rights.
MEMRI EXPOSES ANTISEMITIC IMAMS IN THE WEST – AS WELL AS WHITE SUPREMACIST INCITEMENT ONLINE
Additionally, as antisemitism in the West reaches proportions not seen in decades, we have increased even more our monitoring and documentation of it. The MEMRI Sermons Project identifies, translates, and releases hateful sermons inciting against Jews, calling for killing them, and more, from across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia – leading in many cases to legal measures. Our new White Supremacist Online Incitement project has already identified numerous threats against Jews in the U.S. and notified authorities, who have taken action.
Across the U.S., in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, DC, lawmakers, decision-makers, counterterrorism officials, and first responders turn to MEMRI. MEMRI meets regularly with staff of leading Republican and Democratic members and Congressional committees, sharing our latest research on the Middle East and terrorism and discussing ways of helping to stop online terror recruitment and funding. MEMRI provides its latest research to the White House and federal agencies, including the Departments of State, Homeland Security, and Justice; the National Counterterrorism Center; and TSA. Governments, law enforcement, and counterterrorism authorities across the U.S. and the entire West use MEMRI research in their fight against terrorism, extremism, and antisemitism. Leading U.S. print and broadcast media outlets including The Washington Post, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, and CNN regularly use MEMRI research, as do over 700 universities, colleges, and other institutes of higher learning, in the U.S. and worldwide.
