On Iran's Press TV, 'Veterans Today' Editor Gordon Duff: 9/11 is a Deception by U.S. and Israeli Intelligence Agencies; A.N.S.W.E.R Official: These Conspiracy Theories are Antisemitic and Ludicrous

On September 1, 2011, the Iranian English-language Press TV channel aired an episode of its "News Analysis" program, featuring a debate about 9/11. Guests on the program included Gordon Duff, senior editor of the Ohio-based Veterans Today, and Richard Becker of the A.N.S.W.E.R (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) Coalition.

Reza Hatami (Press TV Reporter): "The U.S. government claims Al-Qaeda hijackers crashed two passenger planes into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001, followed by a strike on the Pentagon by an American Airlines Boeing 757. Newly-released video footage, however, challenges the official story, showing that the Pentagon was hit by a cruise missile and not a passenger plane."

Voice of Dimitri Khalezov (Author, "The Third Truth About Sept. 11"): "We've got this video. I'm sure many have seen this but I've never seen the [unintelligible] right here - these little explosions (I've circled them) that clearly point out there's no huge jet flying into the Pentagon. And right there, I mean come on, that is not a jet flying into it. Where did this video surface? Why is this not more abundantly found on the Internet? I have never seen this one and it's clear it was not a jet. I mean how much more obvious can it be?"

Gordon Duff: There is "a Ten-Year Massive Cover and Deception Program Run by Intelligence Agencies in the U.S., Israel, and Otherwise"

Voice of Gordon Duff (Senior Editor, Veterans Today, Ohio): "It brings to mind the, what I can call a ten-year massive cover and deception program run by intelligence agencies in the U.S., Israel, and otherwise, that attempts to characterize what we have are hard facts and hard evidence that we're willing to bring to a court of law... We're willing to present documents and testimony proving the planning of 9/11 by the Bush administration, the full complicity of the state of Israel. We don't even have to begin to get into the science, the mysterious disappearance of the 47-story building number three that was admittedly destroyed with months of pre-planning. Living proof that everything was a lie.

"The idea that 10 years later, after 10 years of continually fighting an American government that we believed was overthrown during the Bush election of 2000... This was a coup d'état and one of the problems we have with groups that call themselves '9/11 Truth' - and there are many fine individuals in these groups. But these groups - millions of dollars have been spent by Israeli intelligence, by other agencies, by groups around the world to infiltrate these groups, discredit these groups, and some of the language that we hear and this is the [unintelligible] pointing fingers, is very much like the things that we discovered in the documents that were just recovered from Libyan intelligence, that Israel and Jordan and members of the U.S. Congress and Egyptian intelligence have been working together from day number one all along.

"Is there a worldwide conspiracy? Certainly. Twelve trillion dollars stolen, two wars, as many as 2 million people killed and the idea that any of this is conspiracy theory – we have hard... Not only do we have a massive amount of hard scientific proof, we have witnesses, we have testimony, we have documents, we have members of the National Security Council - an assistant to Mr. Wolfowitz and Condoleezza Rice - that are willing to testify of White House planning of 9/11. We have people who were in the room, who are ready to present it now and the U.S. government is doing everything it can to prevent it. [...]

"The U.S. government has been a virtual slave state to a group of Israeli based bankers since 1913. It wasn't Al-Qaeda's goal to run the U.S. into $15 trillion debt..."

Interrupted by Richard Becker: "That's ridiculous."

Gordon Duff: "...That produces nearly a trillion dollars a year of interest income for Rothschild, largely Rothschild, not entirely, but largely Rothschild-controlled banks. That was the goal, certainly. The goal was to create debt. No question about that and that was there to destroy the United States."

Gordon Duff: Al-Qaeda Never Existed, and Bin Laden Died in 2001

"As far as Al-Qaeda, there has never been such an organization, it never existed; it was an invention of the U.S. Department of Justice during the Clinton Administration. There has never been any proof of such an organization, I have debriefed Osama bin Laden's CIA handlers and certainly they have told me, and I have put in print, exactly what they had said - that upon his death in 2001 he was in very good standing with the United States government.

"And as far as the beginning of the Iraq war, starting with the first Gulf War - a WikiLeaks cable released last year, which was read on the floor of the House of Representatives by Ron Paul clearly indicated that the first Bush Administration had authorized Saddam Hussein to move into Kuwait and later took advantage by attacking him for things that they specifically had authorized."

Reza Hatami: "Okay let me bring in..."

Gordon Duff: "The article is up on Veterans Today, it is in the Congressional Record having been read by Representative Ron Paul, a presidential candidate. We can pretend it didn't happen. We can talk about these wars, and all of these wars... I agree with Mr. Becker 100% on these wars and others. But these wars are all, and this is the 500-pound gorilla in the room, all of these wars are orchestrated by the state of Israel's stranglehold on the U.S. government, their stranglehold on Congress and their strangle hold on the U.S. economic system, which was increased by the Supreme Court's ruling that allows corporations now to freely donate money...

Reza Hatami: "Okay..."

Gordon Duff: "... Into the U.S. political system by the hundreds of millions of dollars. Much of that money and it's a funny thing we don't mention this in Afghanistan, but between 65 and 80 billion dollars - not opium, processed heroin - leaves Afghanistan on aircraft every year. The Taliban, or imaginary Al-Qaeda, who our Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said maybe has few as a dozen people..."

Reza Hatami: "Okay..."

Gordon Duff: "...according to him..."

Reza Hatami: "Let me for lack of time bring in at least Richard Becker into the conversation."

Gordon Duff: "Sure."

Reza Hatami: "Mr. Becker, I think that there was something that Gordon Duff said there that you had a response. And of course any replies towards his statements after that?"

Richard Becker: The Idea of a Jewish/Israeli Conspiracy is Preposterous

Richard Becker (A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition): "Well, the idea that Israel controls the United States, or that Israel since 1913 has been doing something with the U.S. banking system – Israel didn't come into being a state until 1948. I think what we're hearing from Mr. Duff quite honestly is a rehash of the old Jewish banker international conspiracy to control the world. And I think he believes that. I think that is another one of these really erroneous and reprehensible conspiracy theories – one that's even worse because of the racist nature of it. That idea of what drives the U.S. empire is really foolish, it's ridiculous, it's as ridiculous as the other conspiracy theory we've been talking about. And this is an empire, we live here in the United States..."

Duff and Becker interrupt each other.

Reza Hatami: "Let Richard Becker finish and we'll come to you. Richard Becker, go ahead."

Richard Becker: "The idea that a small country in the Middle East, one which is a very powerful...

Duff can be heard laughing in the background.

Richard Becker: "...Military state and is..."

Gordon Duff: "This is getting funnier and funnier... By the way, it should go on record..."

Richard Becker: "...And we see is getting great assistance from the United States, and I say this is an organization that strongly supported the struggle for Palestinian rights, but we reject completely the idea, these ideas, that are put forward that are really of an antisemitic world banking conspiracy."

Gordon Duff: "It's always the same thing – 'but Israel's such a small country'..."

Richard Becker: "They've been spying on us, by the way..."

Gordon Duff: "...that controls 40% of the world's wealth. As far as the issues of Europe we're getting the two looks that we've had behind the screen..."

Reza Hatami: "Quickly if you can."

Gordon Duff: "...We've only had two – one has been WikiLeaks. When WikiLeaks was exposed as an Israeli based intelligence operation to bring about an attack on Iran..."
