Shari Baloch aka Bramsh – the woman who blew herself up on April 26, 2022, in an attack killing three Chinese academics and their Pakistani driver on the campus of the Karachi University – joined Twitter in December 2021. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a non-jihadi secessionist group in Baluchistan that claimed the April 26 attack, named Shari Baloch of the BLA's Majeed Brigade as the fidayee (i.e., martyrdom-seeking) bomber.
On April 29, 2022, the media arm of Al-Qaeda Central Command released the sixth episode of a preaching series featuring Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri.
On May 2, 2022, the official outlet of Al-Qaeda Central Command, released a 47-minute video of the organization's leader, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, titled "Kashmir and Palestine: A Recurring Tragedy."
On May 2, 2022, a pro-Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) Telegram user posted a series of "exclusive" photos documenting the visit by HTS leader Abu Muhammad Al-Joulani to the markets of Idlib to "evaluate Muslims' affairs" on the last day of the fasting month of Ramadan.
On April 27, 2022, a senior commander in the Iran-backed militia Kata'ib Hizbullah in Iraq published a statement on Telegram urging supporters of the "axis of resistance" to demonstrate their solidarity with the Palestinian people to mark Al-Quds Day.
ISIS Claims It Opened Fire On U.S. Convoy In Eastern Syria
Issue 336 of Al-Naba', the official weekly magazine of the Islamic State (ISIS), dated April 28, 2022, includes a claim that the organization's fighters shot at a U.S. convoy in eastern Syria, as part of the ongoing "Campaign of Revenge for the Two Sheikhs."
ISIS Sinai: Israel's Assistance To Egyptian Forces Hinders Operatives' Freedom Of Movement
The April 28, 2022 issue 336 of the Islamic State (ISIS) Al-Naba' weekly includes a report of the alleged operations carried out over the previous week by "a small force" of ISIS operatives against militias loyal to the Egyptian Army in the village near Rafah, in the far northeast of the Sinai Peninsula.
On April 28, 2022, the Islamic State (ISIS) released issue 336 of its weekly newsletter, Al-Naba'. The issue's feature editorial, titled "Jihad, Oh Ummah Of Jihad," aimed to incite Muslims to violence by stressing the necessity of waging jihad for the survival of the Islamic community.

Pro-ISIS Telegram Channel Threatens Sinai Tribal Militias Who Ally With Egyptian Army Against ISIS
On April 28, 2022 a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel published a lengthy post addressing tribes in the Sinai, warning them not to join the Egyptian army's campaign against ISIS in Sinai.
On May 4, 2022, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) outlet published a short article criticizing the Muslim Brotherhood and their "master," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for "normalizing" ties with Israel and "selling out" Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was assassinated in the Saudi embassy in Turkey, for "personal gain."
On April 30, 2022, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel posted a series of questions and answers about ISIS's presence in Nigeria and its neighboring regions, as well as the possibility of territorial expansion and the scope of the West's involvement.
The latest issue of "Voice of Khurasan," the English-language monthly magazine published by the Islamic State's (ISIS) Khurasan Province, advocates jihad and hijra (i.e., travel to areas in which ISIS is fighting) and urges Muslims to follow the path of jihad.
On May 4, 2022, an Australian pro-Islamic State (ISIS) preacher who is a central figure in the Salafi and jihadi community in Australia and more broadly among English-speaking jihadis on social media, published a post on his Telegram channel promoting his new account on TikTok.
On April 27, 2022, one of the media arms of Al-Qaeda in the Arabia Peninsula (AQAP) published an official statement claiming that AQAP operatives were involved in the freeing of "Muslim prisoners" from a jail in Yemen's Hadhramaut region.
On May 3, 2022, the official media outlet of Somalia-based Al-Qaeda affiliate Harakat Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen (Al-Shabab) claimed responsibility for the largest operation to date against The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) in the center of Somalia.
Al-Shabab Video Glorifies Attacks In Somalia, Pays Homage To Attacks Against West, Israel
On May 2, 2022, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's Somali affiliate, Al-Shabab, released a 30-minute video chronicling the operations of the group's Muhammad bin Muslima Brigade, as well as paying homage to high-profile terrorist attacks in the West and Israel, including the September 11 attacks, the 2015 Charlie Heboo shooting, and recent terrorist attacks in Beersheba and Tel Aviv, Israel.
Prominent Al-Qaeda Supporter Quits 'Media Jihad,' Praises 'Resoluteness Of Brethren' In Jerusalem
On April 24, 2022, a prominent Al-Qaeda supporter published a post on Telegram announcing that he is quitting "media jihad" indefinitely and reminding the jihadi community that "America is the primary enemy."
Pro-Al-Qaeda Media Outlet Publishes First Issue Of French-Language Magazine
On May 1, 2022, an Al-Qaeda-affiliated French-language media outlet released the first issue of a new French-language magazine, "Manhaj," which runs 52 pages and is titled "Awareness or First Step on the Way." On the cover, the publication describes itself as a "magazine for raising the awareness of the French-speaking Muslim community."
On May 2, 2022 the website of the Turkestan Islamic Party In Syria (TIP) published a 4.5-minute video showing a TIP military wing commander delivering an Eid Al-Fitr lecture in the Uyghur language, with no translation provided.
On May 1, 2022, a user of an Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket.Chat server posted the sixth issue of "O Mujahideen in the West" magazine. This most recent issue, whose release coincides with the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, is 44 pages long, significantly longer than previous issues, which have been under ten pages each.
Iran-Backed Group Claims Rocket Attack On Ayn Al Asad Airbase In Iraq
On April 30, 2022, an Iran-backed Iraqi group claimed responsibility for firing two 122 mm "Grad" rockets (BM-21 "Grad") at the Ayn Al Asad Airbase in Iraq.
Al-Nujaba Movement Threatens Retaliation Against Countries That Normalize Relations With Israel
On April 29, 2022, the Iran-backed, Iraqi Shi'ite Al-Nujaba Movement posted an official statement on its Telegram channel to mark Qods Day, in which it asserts that the issue of "occupied Palestine" pertains to the entire ummah and that "the stolen rights will be restored by force."

On April 29, 2022, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (the Afghan Taliban jihadi organization that took over Afghanistan in August 2021) issued a statement from its emir Mullah Hibbatullah Akhundzada greeting Afghans and Muslims around the world on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. It was celebrated in Afghanistan on May 2, 2022.
