On August 19, 2024, an Iran-backed Iraqi militia issued an official statement on its Telegram channel announcing that it had changed its "blessed jihadi name" and its logo, and from now on would be called the "Jerusalem Outcry Brigades."
On August 17, 2024, unofficial Telegram channels affiliated with Hamas and the Iran-backed militias in Iraq shared a three-page letter from the Hamas military wing, the 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades.
On August 12, 2024, the chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen's Ansar Allah Movement (Houthis), announced the formation of a new government.
On August 17, 2024, a Gazan Al-Qaeda supporter with close ties to Syrian jihadis, published a lengthy Telegram post describing the current plight of Gazans and urging the world's Muslims to take action to defend them.
On August 2, 2024, a media report gave the names of the Afghan Taliban officials who facilitated the relocation and sheltering of Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri in Kabul, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike on July 31, 2022.
A pro-Hamas Telegram channel that often glorifies Hamas's "martyrdom attacks" against Israelis and "settlers," published a new series of posters, encouraging Arabs residing in the West Bank to join the path of "liberating Palestine."
On August 19, 2024, Hamas' military wing, the 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, published a statement claiming that the group was behind the previous day's "martyrdom-seeking operation" in Tel Aviv, in collaboration with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
On August 21, 2024, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, the military wing of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)-affiliated Fatah movement, announced that one of its commanders in Lebanon, had been "martyred" in an Israeli airstrike in Sidon "while performing his duty of struggle as part of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle."
On August 16, 2024, Telegram channels affiliated with Lebanese Hizbullah published a new video whose title refers to an underground facility where the film shows trucks carrying weapons inside large tunnels.
A website affiliated with Lebanese Hizbullah detailed specifications of drone-fired missiles which are in the possession of Iran and Iran-backed militias.
An Iran-backed Iraqi militia spokesman accused the U.S and United Kingdom of "massacring" thousands of Gazans via their support of Israel's military operation against Hamas operatives in the Gaza Strip.
On August 14, 2024, the chairman of the political council of the Iran-backed Al-Nujaba Movement militia gave an approximately 50-minute interview to the Iraqi Alsumaria TV website, during which he declared that any aggression would trigger the renewal of resistance operations.
On August 16, 2024, a Syrian opposition-affiliated website reported that roughly 100 members of Iran-backed militias entered Syria from Iraq, on the same day, using the Al-Bukamal border crossing.
On August 16, 2024, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) claimed responsibility for a suicide attack carried out with a SVBIED (Suicide Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device) that allegedly caused 50 casualties among UAE-backed "mercenaries" at a military base in the Al-Furayyd area in the Mudiyah District of Yemen's Abyan Governorate.
On August 18, 2024, prominent Al-Qaeda supporter quoted reports that the commander of the Security Belt forces in the Al-Mahfid district of Yemen's Abyan Governorate, had been killed in clashes with Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) operatives.
On August 18, 2024, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) aka Ansar Al-Shari’ah, released an approximately one-minute videoclip that includes footage of its August 16 SVBIED (Suicide Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device) attack on a military base of UAE-backed forces in the Mudiyah District of Yemen's Abyan Governorate.
On August 19, 2024, Al-Nusrah Foundation for Media production, a media outlet supportive of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), published two posters eulogizing four of its operatives, declaring that the group would follow their path in jihad and threatening the UAE-backed forces in Yemen with further suicide attacks.
On August 14, 2024, Al-Qaeda supporters on the Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket chat server shared Issue 6 of the pro-Al-Qaeda magazine, Inspire The Believers.
On August 20, 2024, the Shahada News Agency, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Somalia, Harakat Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen (Al-Shabab), published four statements detailing recent activity by the group, including assaults on Somali security officials, armed forces in Somalia and Kenya, and executions of soldiers captured by the group.
Al-Qaeda Affiliate Al-Shabab Claims 'Martyrdom' Operation Against Somali Intelligence In Mogadishu
On August 21, 2024, the Shahada News Agency, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Somalia, Harakat Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen (Al-Shabab), claimed that the group had carried out, on the same day, a suicide operation that targeted an intelligence base in Mogadishu.
On August 14, 2024, an Al-Qaeda follower on the Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket chat server posted the 6th issue of "Inspire The Believers," the pro-Al-Qaeda magazine.
