On August 23, 2021, the Islamic State (ISIS) released a statement claiming that its fighters detonated an explosive-laden car at barracks belonging to General Haftar militias in the eastern entrance of the city of Zillah, in southeast Libya.

On August 22, 2021, the Islamic State (ISIS) West Africa Province (ISWAP) released a photoset depicting its Judicial and Islamic Police Diwan (Bureau) in a shari'a courthouse in Nigeria.

 

Issue 19 Of ISIS Magazine 'Sawt Al-Hind' Calls Upon Jihadis To Assess Their Deeds In Outgoing Hijri Year 1442, Says: 'Make This Year 1443 Hijri A Torment For The Disbelievers And Murtadeen [Apostates]'

On August 21, 2021, a Telegram channel affiliated with U.S.-based jihadi cleric Ahmad Musa Jibril promoted a GoFundMe campaign that had already raised over $1,000 to "help spread the authentic Sunnah" by funding the publication of a book on hadith studies by a jihadi cleric.

 

Pro-ISIS Media Outlet Urges Muslim In India To Take Part In Jihad, Provide Financial Support To Mujahideen

A pro-Islamic State (ISIS) media outlet focused on India published a poster calling on Muslims in India to take part in jihad and provide financial support to the mujahideen.

 

Pro-ISIS Outlet Releases Recruitment Video Urging Muslims In Africa To Unite Against 'Christian Crusaders'

On August 22, 2021, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) media outlet released an eight-minute recruitment video clip as part of a media campaign by ISIS supporters which denounces Rwanda as an enemy of Islam.

 

Recently Launched Pro-ISIS Media Outlet Distributing Official Materials In Several Languages Shares Websites, Including Site Accessed Via TOR Browser

On August 23, 2021, a recently launched pro-Islamic State (ISIS) media outlet that translates and publishes ISIS releases into several languages, published on its Telegram channel, which was created for contact, links to its public website and a special website on the TOR browser; a website where new links will be published; and a Telegram channel through which the group can be contacted.

 

Al-Shabab Claims Killing Over 31 Somali Soldiers, Seizing Control Of Two Cities, Freeing Prisoners

Shahada, the news agency of the Somalia-based Al-Qaeda affiliate Harakat Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen (Al-Shabab) reported that the group's fighters killed over 31 Somali soldiers, including officers, seized 15 vehicles and many weapons, and took control over the cities of Amara and Bacaadweyn in the north-central Mudug region of Somalia.

On August 24, 2021, the media arm of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) released a poster eulogizing two of the group's fighters who were killed in Yemen.

 

Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) Officials, Jihadi Clerics Offers Condolences On The Death Of HTS Fighters During Training

On August 24, 2021, religious officials of Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) in addition to jihadi clerics offered their condolences on the death of several HTS fighters during training.

Following the release of an interview by Syria-based U.S. reporter Bilal Abdul Kareem with the wife of an American fighter. A prominent pro-Al-Qaeda Telegram user published a series of posts and screenshots on his channel, highlighting media reports disputing U.S. President Joe Biden's claim that Al-Qaeda has been eliminated from Afghanistan, claiming that prior to his death, Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had plotted to assassinate former President Barack Obama, in order to allow Biden, then Obama's Vice President, to become President and lead the U.S. into destruction.

On August 20, 2021, a prominent Al-Qaeda supporter on Telegram published a post claiming that news reports have "confirmed" that "sister Aafia Siddiqui," a Pakistani woman incarcerated in the U.S. for attempting to kill U.S. military personnel, "had been severely beaten inside a prison in Texas."

 

Pro-Al-Qaeda Telegram Channel Posts Photos Of Attack Near French Embassy In Tanzania's Dar Es Salaam, Claims Operation Carried Out By Al-Qaeda's Somali Affiliate Al-Shabab

On August 25, 2021, a prominent pro-Al-Qaeda Telegram channel reported that an attack was carried out on the French Embassy in the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam.
