On November 30, 2022, the ISIS spokesman Abu 'Umar Al-Muhajir announced the death of ISIS leader Abu Al-Hasan Al-Hashemi Al-Qurashi in battle and the appointment of a new leader, fourth since the inception of the organization, known as Abu Al-Husayn Al-Husayni Al-Qurashi.
On November 30, 2022, the ISIS Al-Furqan official media outlet released an audio message by the organization's spokesman, Abu 'Umar Al-Muhajir, announcing the killing in battle of ISIS leader Abu Al-Hasan Al-Hashemi Al-Qurashi and the appointment of a new leader, known by the alias Abu Al-Husayn Al-Husayni Al-Qurashi.
On December 1, 2022, Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) published 11 photos showing ISIS fighters in the province gathering to swear their allegiance (bay'ah) to the group's new caliph, Abu Al-Husayn Al-Husayni Al-Qurashi.
On December 2, 2022, ISIS in Iraq Province published photos documenting its fighters pledging bay'a (i.e., allegiance) to the group's new caliph, Abu Al-Husayn Al-Husayni Al-Qurashi, who assumed the leadership role on November 30, 2022.
On December 1, 2022, Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) published 27 photos showing ISIS fighters in the province gathering to swear their allegiance to the group's new caliph, Abu Al-Husayn Al-Husayni Al-Qurashi.
On November 29, 2022, a media outlet under the auspices of the Yemen-based Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), published an infographic titled, "The Evils of the World Cup 2022," which summarizes what AQAP perceives as the profound ills inherent in the FIFA tournament, while stressing the threat it poses to the Islamic nation in the spheres of culture and faith.

Rejoicing over Qatar's hosting of the FIFA World Cup 2022, Afghan Taliban leaders have congratulated the Qatari leadership and people of Qatar for their hosting of the event. However, Hizbut Tahrir Afghanistan, an Islamist organization, criticized the soccer tournament as a historic waste.
Over the past two days, the ISIS Khurasan Province (ISKP) issued claims of responsibility for two attacks in Afghanistan.
The latest issue of "Khurasan Ghag [Voice of Khurasan]," the Pashtu-language magazine published by Al-Azaim Foundation, which is the media arm of the Islamic State's Khurasan Province (ISIS-K), criticizes Islamic religious scholars associated with the Afghan Taliban, calling them "NATO's courtiers" and arguing that they are part of "a dangerous tactic of the Crusaders" to protect their puppet Muslim governments.

On December 4, 2022, an unofficial pro-ISIS media outlet claiming to represent Islamic State's operatives in East Asia Province (ISEAP), released a video eulogizing slain ISEAP commander in the Philippines.
ISIS Supporter: New Caliph Will Be The Last One Before Judgment Day
On December 4, 2022, a media outlet on the ISIS-operated Rocket.Chat server published a post about the apocalyptic Islamic belief that Prophet Muhammad will be succeeded by 12 caliphs, the last of which will be the messianic figure Mahdi, who will defeat evil and herald Judgment Day.
Over the past few days, an anti-ISIS channel on an Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket.Chat server that had leaked news of the death of ISIS' leader Abu Al-Hasan Al-Hashemi Al-Qurashi, released new information about the slain leader.
Al-Qaeda's Sahel Affiliate Claims Two Attacks In Kayes Region Of Southwestern Mali
Over the past week, Az-Zallaqa, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in the Sahel, the Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (GSIM), claimed responsibility for two GSIM attacks in the Kayes region of southwestern Mali.
On December 1, 2022, the official media outlet of Al-Qaeda-affiliate in the Sahel, the Group for Support of Islam and Muslims (GSIM), released a ten-minute video titled "Be Harsh Upon Them," the second installment of a video series documenting attacks in the Sahel region.
On December 6, 2022, an anti-ISIS channel shared on the Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket.Chat platform a poster produced by a new pro-Al-Qaeda group.
On December 6, a pro-Al-Qaeda Twitter user tweeted a photo of a recent meeting between Abu Dhabi Emir Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed and the Taliban's "Defense Minister," Mullah Yaqoob Mujahid.
The Shahadah News Agency, a media outlet affiliated with Al-Shabab, posted pictorial reports documenting charity events organized by Al-Shabab-run Al-Ihsan Charity Association to distribute aid to the residents of Galguduud and Hiraan regions.

On December 5, 2022, a media outlet affiliated with the Iran-backed militias in Iraq, proposed in a post on Telegram that Iraq should establish a national telecommunications company in cooperation with China's Huawei.
Syrian Opposition Website: Houthi Ansar Allah Operatives Receive Training From IRGC In Eastern Syria
On December 1, 2022, a Syrian opposition website reported that operatives from the Houthi Ansar Allah movement had arrived at the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) headquarters in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Al-Zour Governorate, "the stronghold of the Iranian militias in Syria."

An Urdu-language website of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (the Taliban jihadi organization) has published reports showing that the Taliban government, which is yet to be recognized by the international community, will preserve memorabilia from its "jihad" against the United States following 9/11. It noted that the U.S. wants friendly relations with the new Taliban rulers of Kabul, and there is nothing adversarial in the October 2022 U.S. National Security Strategy.

On November 22, 2022, Lt.-Gen. Upendra Dwivedi, the chief of the Indian army's Northern Command, revealed that at least 300 jihadi terrorists are active in Jammu & Kashmir. "According to our data, 82 Pakistani terrorists and 53 local terrorists are active in the hinterland, while the area of concern is the criminal activities of 170 others who are not identified," he said.
