On May 7, 2024, Al-Ahad News website, which is affiliated with Lebanese Hizbullah, published a report citing a Hamas spokesman in Beirut, Jihad Taha, as saying that the victory in Gaza would be similar to Lebanon's victory in 2006.
A website affiliated with Lebanese Hizbullah keeps a rolling record of hostilities committed by Iranian proxies against Israel during the Israel-Hamas War.
A May 8, 2024, article on a Lebanese website known for its opposition to Hizbullah reported that the war in Gaza had led to a rise of Sunni rhetoric similar to Hizbullah's in northern Lebanon's Sunni areas.
The armed forces of the Houthi Ansar Allah movement claimed on May 9, 2024, responsibility for two drone and missile attacks on two "Israeli ships" in the Gulf of Aden, and two missile attacks on a third ship (about which no details were provided), one in the Indian Ocean and the second attack on the same ship in the Arabian Sea.

Iran-Backed 'Islamic Resistance In Iraq' Claims Attack On Eilat, Israel Using New Type Of Drones
On May 14, 2024 the Iran-backed umbrella group called Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which consists of several Iraqi Shi'ite militias, claimed that its fighters used two drones to target a vital site in Israel's city of Eilat late on Monday, May 13.
On May 14, 2024, a Telegram channel that supports Iran-backed militias in Iraq published a post stating that Iranian-designed Shahed 136 drones are now being used in attacks against Israel.
The Iraqi Al-Nujaba Movement claimed on May 9, 2024, that Israel had attacked its "culture and media center" in Damascus, and threatened to respond with a "unexpected and powerful blow" in the depth of Israel's territory.

A Russian-language media outlet which is affiliated with the Syria-based Salafi-jihadi group Ajnad Kavkaz has launched a fundraising campaign aimed at financing Palestinian "resistance fighters" amid the Israel-Hamas war.
Syria-Based Jihadi Group From Caucasus Solicits Cryptocurrency Donations To Buy Quadcopter Drones
On May 15, 2024, a group of mujahideen from the Caucasus affiliated with Syrian jihadi group Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) released a poster depicting Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and generals from their armies with targets drawn on them, as drones fly above them.
