On May 23, 2024, the Committee for the Liberation of the Arabian Peninsula, a newly formed Iran-backed militant organization, issued a statement demanding that the Saudi royal family relieve Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of his duties within one month. If not, the committee threatened to overthrow the Saudi Government by force.
On May 27, 2024, following the fire exchanges that day between Israeli and Egyptian military forces at the Rafah border crossing, the jihadi group "Al-Farouq Brigades – Sinai" called on all people in Egypt, Sinai and Jordan, both soldiers and civilians, who possess weapons to immediately join the fray against Israel, alone or in small groups, and carry out deadly attacks on Israel's borders or against Israeli interests.
On May 24, 2024, Al-Sahab, the official media outlet of Al-Qaeda General Command, released a three-page statement titled: "Support and Endorsement of the Lone-Lion Operations Against the Zionist Aggressors."
On May 29, 2024, Houthi Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e delivered a statement claiming responsibility for six attacks against six commercial ships, including one American ship, in the Red, Arabian, and Mediterranean seas.
On May 29, 2024, Houthi Ansar Allah armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e claimed that the group's Air Force had intercepted an American unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) MQ-9 Reaper "while it was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Ma'rib Governorate." The Houthis hit the UAV with "a locally made surface-to-air missile."
On May 27, 2024, Houthi Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e delivered a statement claiming responsibility for five attacks against Israeli and American ships and American destroyers.
On May 24, 2024, for the first time, the Houthi Ansar Allah movement claimed an attack in the Mediterranean: a missile attack on an "Israeli vessel." The Houthis also claimed missile and drone attacks on two other ships: an "Israeli" vessel in the Arabian Sea and a vessel in the Red Sea belonging to a Greek company whose ships "docked at occupied Palestine ports."
On May 27, 2024, an escalation of the opposition to Syrian jihadi group Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and its leadership occurred when a member of the HTS-linked General Security Administration (GSA) was found with his throat cut at his home southwest of Idlib.

On May 25, 2024, Al-Qaeda's affiliate in the African Sahel, Jama'at Nusrat Al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen (the Group for Support of Islam and Muslims – GSIM), published a series of 10 photos documenting a GSIM military course in a camp in Burkina Faso.
On May 27, 2024, Al-Sahab, the official media outlet of Al-Qaeda's central command, published a two-page statement in Arabic titled "Statement Of Condolences And Solace Regarding The Floods In Afghanistan." For the past two weeks and ongoing, severe flooding in Afghanistan’s northern provinces has killed hundreds and left thousands homeless.
On May 23, 2024, the Al-Andalus Foundation, the official media outlet of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), published a 29-minute video, the seventh installment in a series titled "Enlightening the Minds about the Apostasy of Algeria's Rulers," which features an audio message from a senior AQIM operative.
On May 26, 2024, a prolific Al-Qaeda supporter, published a poster in Arabic calling on Muslims to support Gaza by killing Jews and their "allies" around the world.
On May 29, 2024, the Islamic State (ISIS) Somalia Province published a statement claiming that its operatives had detonated an IED on a group of Somali policemen near a police checkpoint in Mogadishu's Daynile district, killing two policemen and wounding four others.
On May 28, 2024, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) published a statement claiming dozens of casualties in May 26 clashes between operatives of the group and forces of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in Nigeria's Borno state.

The IEA has banned girls and women from schools, colleges, universities, parks, and workplaces.
An article published by one of the official websites of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA, i.e., the Afghan Taliban) eulogizes Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansour, the second Emir-ul-Momineen and successor to Afghan Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar, crediting him with building the military and administrative structure of the IEA.
