Special Dispatch No. 11475

In a Pashtu-language article, Hizb-ut-Tahrir Afghanistan, the Afghan branch of the global Islamist organization of the same name that seeks to establish an Islamic caliphate, noted that the West is going through a crisis of leadership that presents an opportunity for Islamic leaders.

"The caliphate will train the bravest, wisest and just leaders in the Ummah to save the world from the Dajjal[1] of this century such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, nation states and Western capitalist states," says the article, titled "The 2024 Elections And The Crisis Of Leadership In The West."[2]

Following is a translation of the Pashtu-language article:

"The Current Leaders Of The West Are At A Very Low Level In Terms Of Their Leadership, Effectiveness, [And] Understanding Of International Politics"

"On June 27 of this year, Joe Biden and Donald Trump held their first face-to-face debate of the election as the Democratic and Republican candidates of the United States. This debate is considered one of the worst presidential candidate debates in the history of America. Rather than discussing their plans in accordance with the moderators' questions, the two elderly candidates engaged in mocking and insulting each other and labeling each other as the worst presidents in America history.

"2024 is a year full of elections to determine the leadership of governments worldwide, especially Western governments. These elections have become the center of heated political debates today. Discussions are going on in the West about radical and extremist leaders, who think only of themselves and of gaining power. And their plans are devoid of those Western values that have been calling the world to them for years.

"The French elections and the electoral conflicts between the leftists, the rightists, and [Emmanuel] Macron have caused confusion in determining the leadership of the government in France. The coming and going of four prime ministers in the last few years in England shows the mistrust and mistakes in appointing unfit leaders in the biggest government like England.

"Comparing the majority of the current leaders of Europe and America with their previous leaders is something that history will remember. The current leaders of the West are at a very low level in terms of their leadership, effectiveness, understanding of international politics, and their value orientation compared to the leaders of a decade before. For example, the American leadership in the two terms of Biden and Trump and the leadership in the two terms of Barack Obama have had differences in terms of values, influence over competitors, and in gathering America's allies into one axis."

"Today, America Is Faced With The Current Worn-Out And Sick Leaders, More Than Ever Before, At A Low Level Of Trust In The World And Within Its Own Country"

"Today, America is faced with the current worn-out and sick leaders, more than ever before, at a low level of trust in the world and within its own country. This situation has caused its influence and soft power to decrease and has made the political leadership of the government like America face various challenges in the world. Now Biden is known as a symbol of paralyzed America and Trump as a symbol of maddened America. So that even this issue has left the rest of the world in awe.

"Big Western governments, including America, have structures and institutions that can reduce the negative effects of their hated leaders to some extent. However, because the structures and institutions are managed, led, and launched by humans themselves, these hateful, untrustworthy and worthless leaders weaken and corrupt the structures and institutions over time. The path in which the West is located and has become the biggest challenge for it.

"Therefore, with such a situation, it can be said with certainty that the current West is facing a leadership crisis, a crisis that causes hundreds of other crises at the level of government and society in the West. This should be understood simply and well; there is not only one person named Trump in America, but supporting such a person means that there are tens of millions of Trumps in the American society who accept him as their leader.

"The current state of the West is actually a decadence that occurred before such leaders came to power in Western societies. This means, the current chaotic situation in the West and the leadership crisis in it is rooted in the people and the way people look at it. Because it is the people who nurture and support such insane and hateful leaders."

"Unfortunately, The Rulers Of Islamic Lands Follow Such Crazy And Foolish Western Leaders"; "The Crisis Of Leadership In The West Has Provided A Great Opportunity, Alongside Other Opportunities, To The Two Billion Islamic Ummah"

"Unfortunately, the rulers of Islamic lands follow such crazy and foolish Western leaders. Following leaders like Biden, who cannot control his flatulence and cannot articulate his sentences correctly, is a source of shame and humiliation.

"The crisis of leadership in the West has provided a great opportunity, alongside other opportunities, to the two billion Islamic Ummah. The opportunity that our current world needs more than ever before is devout, pious, intelligent, just, and strong leaders, who can not only lead the Ummah but also serve as an example of leadership, justice, and fairness for other nations.

"Undoubtedly, this situation will only come to pass when sincere, pious, wise, and decisive leaders emerge from within the Ummah and gain power in Islamic lands. In this way, the Ummah will support them at the cost of their lives and establish the Caliphate based on the method of Prophethood.

"The caliphate that will train the bravest, wisest and just leaders in the Ummah to save the world from the Dajjal of this century such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, nation states and Western capitalist states..."
