Video Urges Support for Islamic Party of Turkestan, Shows Uighur Kids Training for Jihad

Ayman Al-Zawahiri in New Video: The Planned Waziristan Offensive is a 'Path of Perdition' for Pakistan and the Crusaders

In an new 22-minute video produced by Al-Sahab, Al-Qaeda's media wing, Al-Qaeda deputy leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri says that the Pakistani Army's planned offensive in Waziristan will backfire on Pakistan and NATO, and calls it a "path of perdition for the apostates in Pakistan and the Crusaders in Afghanistan." The video was posted on jihadist websites on August 28, 2009.

Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen Declares 'Winds of Victory' Offensive

In an August 30, 2009 communiqué, the Somali jihad group Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen announced that a new offensive against the infidels, called "Winds of Victory," had been launched on the first day of Ramadan and would continue until the sixth day of Shawwal (September 26, 2009). ISI War Minister Announces a New Stage in Anti-U.S. Action

In a 22-minute video devoted to Ramadan, Abu Hamza Al-Muhajir, minister of war for the so-called Islamic State of Iraq, discussed the month of Ramadan and its close connection to jihad, and then announced the beginning of an offensive, which he dubbed "The Prisoner's Attack."
