Iranian preacher Ali-Saleh Mousavi-Azam said in a Friday, February 4, 2022 sermon in the city of Yasuj, Iran that aired on Dena TV (Iran) that the Jews that live as dhimmis in Shiraz live in safety, yet still conspire and show animosity. He said that his intention is to "awaken" his audience's "sense of religious zeal" regarding the "atrocities" of the Jews and the Zionists. In addition, Mousavi-Azam said that he heard from his mentor that some Jews in Iran would use kerosene lamps instead of electricity so that they could send the money they saved to Israel.
Ali-Saleh Mousavi-A'zam: "Look at Shiraz, where many dhimmi infidels live. There are Jews who live there, and have their storefronts next to those of the Muslims.
"They live there feeling safe, even though they never cease their conspiring and animosity.
"I am telling you this to awaken your sense of religious zeal regarding the atrocities of the Jews, and especially the Zionists."
"My deceased mentor Seyed Ahmad Ayatollahi recounted: We live in a neighborhood where Jews also live. They still do not have electricity in their homes. They say that instead of paying for electricity they would rather use kerosene lamps and send the money they save to Israel, to strengthen it."
