Palestinian activist Farrah Kouttenieh, the founder of Key 48, said at an International Al-Quds Day Rally in London on April 16, 2023 that if people and politicians do not "categorically state" that Israel has no right to exist, then they are "complicit with Israeli oppression." She said that supporting Palestine means supporting Palestinian "resistance by any means necessary and that Palestinian resistance is not terrorism, while Israel's "very existence" constitutes terrorism. At the same rally, Massoud Shajareh of the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) said: "This is the spirit that is needed to make sure that we see the end of this abomination... Now, everybody knows that this regime is going, and that it is on its last legs. The only question left is what we are going to do to make it happen sooner rather than later." The footage of the rally was posted by IHRC to its YouTube channel.
Farrah Koutteineh, Founder of Key 48: "Israel is not a state, it is not a country, it is a group of settlers. It is a settler colony squatting on Palestinian land. We demand the dismantlement of the Israeli settler colony immediately.

"If you, your MP, or any politician that claims to be representing us are not calling for Israel's immediate dismantlement, then they are complicit in Israeli oppression. If they say that they support a two-state solution, they are complicit in Israeli oppression. If they are not categorically stating that the Israeli settler colony — built on the mass graves of my ancestors — has no right to exist, they are complicit in Israeli oppression!
"And lastly, if you truly support Palestine, that means you support Palestinian resistance, you support any and all resistance that Palestinians choose to undertake to liberate their native land and to fight for their freedom and liberation.

"Palestinians resisting brutal settler colonialism, military occupation, apartheid — it is not terrorism, it is not extremism, it is resistance!
[...]
"Terrorism is Israel's very existence! Palestine won't be liberated by the United Nations.
[...]
"Palestine will be liberated in Nablus, in Jenin, in Gaza, in Jerusalem-Al-Quds, and Palestinians will do this by using their legal right to resist by any and all means necessary."

Massoud Shajareh, Islamic Human Rights Commission: "This is the spirt that is needed to make sure that we see the end of this abomination, this regime of Zionist apartheid system. You know, around 25-30 years ago, if you said that this regime is going to be gone, people were thinking: 'Oh, oh, are you serious?' Now everybody knows that this regime I going, and that it is on its last legs. The only question left is what are we going to do to make it happen sooner rather than later."
