Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin: If America Considers Disposing of Our Frozen Assets, It Should Remember That Russia Also Has Something to Take Back – Alaska

Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said in a video that posted to the Pravda YouTube channel on July 7, 2022 that when America considers disposing of Russia's frozen international assets, it should remember that Alaska was originally Russian territory that Russia might decide to take back.

Vyacheslav Volodin: "Decency is not a weakness. We always have something to respond with.  Let America always remember that it has part of our territory — Alaska — and when it tries to dispose of our resources abroad [i.e. frozen assets], before doing this, it should think about us also having something to take back."
