Following are excerpts from the first episode of the Syrian-produced TV series "Al-Shatat," aired by Channel 2 of Iranian TV during the month of Ramadhan. The first episode was aired on August 20, 2009. In this antisemitic series, which purports to present the history of Zionism, Jews are shown perpetrating various crimes, instigating world wars, and murdering a Christian child in order to use his blood for Passover matzoh.
The series was first aired by Hizbullah TV, Al-Manar, during Ramadhan 2003, and was the main reason for the removal of Al-Manar TV from the European Eutelsat satellites.
