The Iranian regime's media outlets broadcast footage of the November 3 anti-American marches held throughout Iran, to mark the anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the U.S. embassy in Tehran. The crowds, responding to the organizers' calls, chanted "Death to America" and "Death to Israel." Deputy IRGC Commander General Hossein Salami delivered the main speech before crowds in Tehran. In various cities, organized displays were held of burning American flags and effigies. In Tehran, a blue and white Star of David containing the words "America Cannot Be Trusted" was set ablaze. The footage shown here aired on Iran's Channel 2.
