Muslim Brotherhood's Grand Mufti Of Libya Sadiq Al-Ghariani: Severing Relations With The UAE Is Not Enough; We Must Fight It And Strike It On Its Own Turf

Sheikh Sadiq Al-Ghariani, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Grand Mufti of Libya, said in an August 12, 2020 address that aired on Al-Tanasuh TV (Libya) that the UAE is a belligerent, combatant country that has been killing Libyans for five years. He said that Libyans must fight the UAE and that if the UAE strikes Libya, they must ally with anyone and sacrifice anything in order to strike the UAE on its own soil.

Sheikh Sadiq Al-Ghariani: "The UAE is a belligerent and combatant country that has been killing us for five years. Our duty does not stop at severing our relations with this country and refraining from any economic and political cooperation with it. No. It is our duty to fight it. \If their planes bomb us, we should strike an alliance with any country, and sacrifice everything in order to strike the UAE on its own turf, just like they do. [The Quran says:] 'Whoever attacked you, attack him the same way he attacked you.'"
