Kuwaiti Islamic scholar and Muslim Brotherhood leader Tariq Al-Suwaidan discussed his experience “training” Muslim youth from the West on a November 3, 2023 episode of The Thinking Man Podcast, hosted by British political scientist Muhammad Jalal, which was uploaded to YouTube. He said that the youth coming from the West is better than the youth from the Arab world. Al-Suwaidan added that this is because they do not have the feelings of inferiority that first generation immigrants have. He advised that they should use their faith, expertise and citizenship to apply pressure on their political leaders and to support the Islamic nation. Al-Suwaidan also said that America no longer instills fear and respect in the world, that they have lost all their recent wars, and that they are a “curse” to anyone they support. He said that Israel only understands force and that this is the only solution for the Palestinian people.

Tareq Al-Suwaidan, who openly promotes jihad, calling to "let the mujahideen do their work," urges Muslims to plan to "wipe out Israel," and in 2013 was fired from his position as director of the Saudi Al-Risala TV after announcing online that he is a Muslim Brotherhood leader, currently resides in Turkey. He spent several years as an Islamic leader in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was an unindicted co-conspirator in the case against Hamas terrorism funding by the Holy Land Foundation, and has been banned from entering several countries, including the United States and Belgium, for antisemitism and supporting terrorism. The Thinking Man podcast is hosted by British political scientist Muhammad Jalal.

Tareq Al-Suwaidan: "The only thing that Israel understands is force.

"And this is the only solution for the Palestinian people. We have been in this situation for a very long period of time, 75 years of occupation, and we have seen that it is by force that the Israelis listen, and this has happened so many times. In 1973 when Egypt conquered them in the battle. In 2004, in 2006, in 2014, and so on, so many, in 2018, it was only force that made them listen. And believe me, we have tried peace, so our only chance is force, we will free our country with force."

Host: "How powerful do you believe the United States is after 20 years of the War on Terror? How powerful does it remain in the Middle East region and in the Muslim world in general?"

[…]

Tareq Al-Suwaidan: "The respect and fear that the people had for the U.S. is no longer. They were beaten in Vietnam, they were beaten in Afghanistan, they have been beaten in Iraq. They have been beaten in every war they go in. Americans are a curse for anyone that they support.

[…]

"I have trained the youth from the East and the West. For example I do a leadership training in Istanbul every year for about 130 young men and women that we choose from all over the world. Usually from 30 countries in the world. Ever year, year after year, the best among them, are the youth that are coming from the West. They are better than the whole youth of the Muslim world.

"I have seen many of my friends begging to become Americans. And they had this inferior feeling in their heads and in their actions. You do not see this in the second generation and third generation. They are British, they are American, they are French. They should act like that. This is your country, and you should pressure your politicians, to change their stance and you should make them fall in the elections if they don't. So you don't have this fear that the migrants had, so use it, use this, all of this, use Islam, and your area of business. And use your citizenship to support your ummah. This is what you should do."
