On January 29, 2017, it was reported that hackers from Team System DZ had compromised the website of the City Council of Aberdeen, Scotland for a few hours. The hackers had changed the homepage to display the text "security stupidity," and each page had a message stating that it had been "hacked by Team System DZ."
The group said that there were "lots of other targets" and that "all that is happening in the Arab countries is mainly due to all foreign governments."
