Anonymous Release IDs of 9,200 Pro-ISIS Twitter Accounts

On March 16, 2015, the hacker collective Anonymous released the IDs of 9,200 Twitter Pro-ISIS accounts as part of their #OpISIS campaign to combat Islamic State propaganda on social media. Anonymous said that they published the list so that Twitter could suspend the accounts for disseminating terrorist propaganda. Anonymous also alleged that Facebook was not doing enough to combat ISIS propaganda on its own platform, and that they had banned an anti-ISIS anonymous Facebook account, while leaving pro-ISIS pages online.
